What's great about watching this Clemson team is that Alabama keeps punching them in the mouth with electric three-point shooting at this stage of the game, yet Clemson doesn't really seem phased about it. Still working their progressions, trying to get that beat shot. Rather than just throwing up prayers to try to cut the lead. That's an attitude and skill that can keep you in some games. We'll see if it's enough to overtake Alabama in this one though.

What a day for NC State. Their men's and women's teams are playing at the exact same time right now.

This failed for public schools. They are governed by state laws. It only applies for private institutions. Not saying things could shift that way, but I think there's a whole lot of litigation and then labor votes well between now and then for that ever to happen. Whether that is a competitive advantage for schools or not is a different story.

Either way it will be very interesting. Purdue fans absolutely hate Tennessee.

It may take a couple more years, but I'll be happy once all these extra COVID year eligibilities expire. That really plugged up roster spots for many teams over the years.

You're not alone. I've had conversations with fans of blue bloods like UNC, UCLA, etc. and they're losing interest as well. Spans beyond basketball as well. And I think one part of it is that fans latch onto some of the players who are consistent 3-4 year players for the team. If 90% of the roster changes every single year, the only common thread is the one on the front of the jersey. The number of times I've heard "I don't even know who's on the team anymore" is becoming far too common these days.

So far one team from Memphis makes it into the Elite Eight.

Just made the trip back from Memphis and now I'm off to bigger an better things.... Updating the final standings for HHCC! Let's take a pause just to reflect on the great season this team had. I won't even be able to do full justice, but this team achieved the 2nd most wins in program history, punched its ticket very securely and not having to sweat it out during Selection Sunday, won against some opponents we've struggled with mightily since joining the Big Ten, defeated the #1 team in the nation, and put up some record shooting performances throughout the season. Sure, the team fell short from an NCAA tournament win. But this team will be hungry to get that win next time around. Let's just not have that elapse another 10 seasons. This team has proven in back-to-back seasons that we're a February team and we deserve to play against the best.
