  2. Not a great week for the Scarlet and Cream. The only ones to benefit are children learning to count to one hundred and Count Dracula. Only two more games until we start getting back into the Big Ten gauntlet. 3. @Norm Peterson's theme song:
  4. The transitive property is a quite a drug when applied to sports.
  5. ...or check them out if you're under 60. Music lives on.
  6. It’s a Nebraska thing Nebraska: It's not for everyone.
  7. I didn't have a chance to watch the game, and was literally forced to have disconnect from the "outside world". I didn't see a minute of the game nor had any clue what the score was. It was a good day. And having seen the score just now, I'm not regretting it one bit.
  8. And the solution isn't as easy as "shoot less three pointers". We don't have a big man in a conference dominated by big men. Inside presence isn't easy to come by. So we're already one dimensional by going with the "live and die by the three pointer" and we're zero dimensional when we die by the three pointer.
  9. I suppose one more pain point for me is the lack of accountability. Whether that's within the athletic department or the coaching staffs. Either way, our top two men's programs are a joke and it seems some within the ranks have chosen apathy over accountability. And why would they? The money keeps coming in from their fans.
  10. I know this has turned into more an evaluation on coaching, but my concerns on Moos we're his excessive spending and little ROI on and off the court/field to show for it. That can be an evaluation of coaching staff, could be an evaluation on the athletic department, evaluation on what and how we're spending our money. Either way, there's tons of programs doing much more with much less. The department is spending more money on facilities and the fans are left spending more money on season tickets, et. al. with no improvements to show for it. That's where I'm at (regardless of any sort of coaching evaluation).
  11. On to the "Elite Eight"...
  12. Hoiberg has had the flu this entire time since March 2020?? That explains his lack of energy.
  13. Everything is fine... (insert fire meme here) This one? Sorry, this is the only image of Steve Pederson I could find...
  14. We are now actually #346 out of 350 in 3-point percentage. #346: Nebraska (thru 10 games) #347: South Florida (7 games) #348: Portland State (7 games) #349: Missouri (9 games) #350: Maine (7 games)
  15. Delaware State is currently #355 and Marist is #236 right now, in case anyone (cough cough @royalfan) was wondering.
  16. I know there had been a lot of people who were high on his big spending and decisions. He left in the offseason and now we've seen four years of his administrative decisions come to life. Maybe there needs to be more time for these projects to take effect like my prior hesitations? Maybe his massive spending spree and dash (like he did at Washington State) was all for not and isn't building towards any ROI on the court like I had hesitations of? Either way, we're dipping a lot into our budget, the fans are seeing more expensive tickets, and the quality of the programs are absolute historical garbage. There's many programs out there doing more with far less. If the money isn't helping improve the product, then what are we spending it for? Moos has moved on, but we're stuck holding the bag and the massive hit to our reputation.
  17. Why couldn't it have been the TV broadcast instead?
  18. We produce very poorly on the court, yet we still get people into the NBA. So there's that.
