If we keep the final score within 30 points, I think that would be a victory in and of itself. Seriously, I'd be very encouraged with this young team to keep it respectable.
-
Much better then last year when we were pretty much throttled by South Dakota State.

True, doesn't seem like he's the type to partake in any funny business either. -

I'll be honest, I'm not sure I'll be able to hold it together. It's been a long 16 years gentlemen. Enjoy today. -
So far Ohio State and Purdue both look bad. Not the best basketball being played right now.

That PBA is now on his bucket list!

I'm crying like a baby, special moment.

At the very least we could teach this kid how to play defense and rebound, then how to get out of the way for the scores on offense. Like his size and athleticism. -
Looks like Hoop will come up just short of passing Karen Jennings on the all time scoring list. I never thought I'd see the day when anyone would even come close to that record.

KenPom 2013-2014 KenPom Rankings Thread
cwshuskers replied to HuskerActuary's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I think getting to 20 wins no matter how we do it is more important then anything else. We have guaranteed 5 games left with 6,7, or 8 games possible. We absolutely can't lose to Northwestern. I look at it like this, we need to win one game in Indy for every one regular season loss. If we go 1-3 to finish the year, we need to win 3 in Indy. Go 2-2, 2 wins needed in Indy. 3-1, 1 win needed. 4-0, no wins needed. Simple as that. -
So you're saying they're due? So you're saying they're due? So you're saying they're due?Yes

12/21/2013 - The Citadel Report Card

Was in town and able to see my first and only game of the season. I sat behind the bench and I echo everyones thoughts. I'm greatly concerned about what's going on inside these guys heads. The body language, the rolling of the eyes, the lack of support for your teammates is down right embarrassing. Really, the ONLY guys who I noticed who didn't do that crap were Leslee and Ray. Those two are obviously a little older and more mature. We are in deep, deep trouble and we'll be lucky to win a game or two in conference. -

Holy cow!!! This will now be a top 10 class folks! Future looks incredibly bright! -
If he qualifies then this could be a 4 star get. BOOM!
-
So what is plan B? It appears to me like the coaches have thrown plans B, C, and D in the trash.
-
I just can't get it out of my mind that we told Wacker to go ahead and go with Boise. We've backed off on going after another center and Smith still doesn't have an offer. If Elbert hasn't picked Nebraska (I'm sure he's already informed all parties), then we would be scrambling big time right now and it doesn't appear that the coaches are doing that. Kenya's relationship with the family very early on may be the tipping point. He's been in on Elbert for 3 years. Nebrasketball's luck is changing and my gut feeling is that he's "N". Either way, I wish the kid nothing but the best of luck. He seems like a class act.

Ruf-row. Hopefully Kenya can pull some magic because that's what it will take at this point.

Big E tweeted something last night (around when the OSU coaches were there) about his little brother not being allowed to come with and he didn't sound happy about it. Said he "didnt want to go anymore". Can only presume he was talking about his upcoming OSU visit. His brother came with on his Nebraska visit.
