I think we are going to wins more games, but I feel we are pretty comfortably in currently as we have 4 more Q1 wins than Gonzaga and they are for some reason safe

I really think he is about as bad as you can be on defense. Our defense is what produces our offense and therefore his play is not geling with Fred's system. Maybr he can figure it out, but his lateral movement is abysmal. Athletic teams like USC, UCLA and Ohio State would make him look REALLY bad!

Iowa is number 1 for must win for psyche alone. That game sent us down that path of 6 straight losses. I don't care if Minnesota was ranked 200 in the metrics. We lose to Iowa, I see a team that won't win again after. I can't imagine what losing to them at home for the last game of the seaso would do to the team moral going into the post season. If the OT loss at their place made us go on a 6 game skid.

Lunardi finally has us in as Last 4 In Yet every metrics has as the best 10 seed or better (37th) and our RPI has us as a 5 seed RPI - 20th = 5 seed SOR - 24th = 6 seed KPI - 27th = 7 seed Kenpom - 28th = 7 seed NET - 33rd = 9 seed BPI - 37th = 10 seed Yet Lunardi has us barely in... if I saw him in real life I'd kick him in the balls for his bias

If this needs to be in another thread I apologize. So I am looking at the BPI on ESPN and it is driving nuts. Can someone explain how it is remotely possible for Creighton to be ranked 34 currently sitting at 8-5 with wins over Kansas and Villanova. While Nebraska beat them by 11 at there house is sitting at 38. Nebraska is 10-2 with win @Creighton, @Hawaii, Indiana and Oregon State on a neutral court. I get it Kansas is good, but overall Nebraska has the head up road win by double digits. They have more quality wins, 3 less losses than Creighton and I think losing to Georgetown by 24 at a bare minimum offsets the one blunder on our resume @Michigan State Yes this is directed at Creighton, but my question is... What is the BPI metrics? Whatever it is, is extremely flawed and should not be used come tournament time.

I say roughly about the same. I think this team has potential to be better, but it all rides on consistent production of Berke and Essegian. I think that Morgan, Ulis, Hoiberg and Meah all have their roles and what they do will need to remain consistent. Then the X factor is Griffiths. I think the way I would describe him is awkward/athletic. He plays super aggressive, but is missing something. I think if he picks it up at all we have a chance to be great, but until then I am thinking we are a High NIT seed to an 8/9 seed level in the tournament. Berke/Griffiths/Essegian < Their play dictates a lot IMO

Who is the odd man out for playing time this year... Worster Ulis Hoiberg Essegian Gary Williams Griffiths Berke Morgan Meah Is Janowski even have a chance at minutes without an injury? I honestly don't know, because I think they all are needed this year. We also know Fred will not be playing 10 players all year

I just feel SF is meant for lean tall (6'6 to 6'8) dudes with guard like skills. You know like Griffith, Gary and Williams. And a PF is meant for dude like Morgan and Bolis. Guys that are tall and built with less guard skills and more back to the basket skills. SG is for dudes with a similar skill set as the SF, but could be 6'3 to 6'6 and a bit quicker. Nothing is written in stone, but when thinking of how I'd like to fill the roster that is the ideal sizes and skill sets I'd look for at a D1 school.
