  1. Valentine is pretty damn good.
  2. Shields will have to work awfully hard to get to the rim tonight.
  3. Nope, not Steve Harley. Who the hell is Steve Harley? Had the best dreads in school history until Mr. Rivers showed up. I'm a dumbass sometimes...for some reason I remembered his name as Harvey, not Harley. OOPS!!!!! :) If I could downvote my previous post, I would. I thought you were making the point that the guy in the foreground of the picture wasn't Steve Harley. So, the comment made sense to me, but not for the reason you intended, apparently. If only. I thought it was one of those Matt Davidson or Grant Winstrom things that drive me bonkers. I jumped the gun on this one...like an idiot.

  6. I was going to say something about being lost under a bridge, just to see if someone would take the bait.
  7. "One lucky fan will shoot for $18,000." Hmmm. Two responses: 1. They couldn't find someone to cover two more thousand dollars to make it an even $20,000? Cheapskates. 2. The fan who shoots isn't really all that lucky unless he or she MAKES the shot. #amiright? Lucky to have the opportunity. Skill will allow for a made shot.
  8. If we can't figure out their zone, we're going to lose.
  9. We've fed the post three times already!
  10. Bunch of shitty fans at Maryland. Empty seats when they're up 35 with a minute to go.
  11. Denny Dent was the first guy I know about to paint like this. He was pretty big in the 90's. Saw him put on a show on campus when I was in college. Freaking amazing!
  12. Sometimes the first offer matters, but we won't know for a while if that's the case here.
  13. What are you talking about? I'm telling you right now Morrow is probably the biggest key to why we are starting to look better. Decent isn't going 9 out of 10... that is called GOOD. Those drives that have been driving me crazy that Shavon and Tai dribble into the lane and fire it up through 3 defenders... They are now turning into what they should of been all year. They are now finding a wide open Morrow for for the easy buckets. Disagree all you want, but in my eyes Morrow play has been the difference. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jacobson is playing better too! He is playing much more aggressive, and it is good to see Watson is a game changing PG, and his vision is absolutely amazing Shields shooting 10 times instead of 20+ is a good thing, and he still is getting his points. I believe he is now starting to trust his teammates more, and it is beneficial to the whole team because of it. McViegh is a smart basketball player, but needs to to be more aware of his surroundings. Got picked for behind twice against Minnesota. White is just consistent, he had an off night and still score 15 Tai is looking better and made some decisions that he has lacked earlier in his time here. Nice to see Benny is Benny. He can provide a spark when needed, and that is what we need him for. Fuller and Hammond are becoming the odd men out. Sorry guys Evelyn and the bench looked like players that haven't seen much time this year, but Evelyn shows flashes I'm not disagreeing with you, but you saying that Morrow is playing better because Tai and Shavon are finally throwing him the ball on their drives after they've drawn defenders doesn't say as much about Morrow as it does Tai and Shavon. It's more important that they're finding the open man under the hoop than who that open man is...right? That said, I was unable to watch any of last night's game, so I can't comment on Morrow's play (other than the highlight I saw).
  14. We'll be favored by Vegas to go 1-5 during that stretch. Illinos might be a wounded animal, but they're a wounded animal that just beat Purdue by 14 at home. As nice as I feel about the last two games, my head tells me 1-5 is the likely outcome. Sometimes I don't like my head.
  15. So, we can expect him to retire from basketball early...just not THAT early?
  16. Unfortunately, there are a lot of folks here who care about Creighton.
  17. According to a few here, the fans who left the game early deserve to be berated. Can't win for losing.
  18. Rutgers looks like they've quit. I'm not complaining.
