  2. He removed all mentions of Nebraska and is tweeting out clips of his highlights. I'd be surprised if he was still committed here at the end of the week.
  3. I guess Cooke left in February to pursue a professional opportunity.

  12. Seeing that Matt A and Doc are removed from the coaching staff on huskers.com. Also not seeing graduate manager Hallice Cooke there anymore.
  13. North Dakota St Grad Transfer and Lincoln native Sam Griesel has committed to play for Nebraska for his last season of eligibility. After starring at Lincoln East, Griesel original committed to former Nebraska assistant Craig Smith and South Dakota. After Smith left for Utah State, Griesel changed his commitment to Dave Richman and North Dakota St. Last season Griesel averaged 14.3 points and 6.6 rebounds while leading the team in assists; shot a career high 39.3% from 3. He also missed 7 of the team's first 8 games because of a bleeding ulcer. Up until 2 week ago, Griesel seemed destined to try his hand at playing professional basketball in Europe , such as Germany where he'd played for their U20 squad due to his father's German heritage. Griesel has one year of eligibility left and is capable of playing either pg or wing. View full article

  15. The proper translation would be 'ist N'?
  16. I've heard Sallis to Creighton. If he wants to be closer to home, that makes sense. If he doesn't think he's going to start next year at Gonzaga, that's something else.
  17. It matters if you're so deficient in terms of toughness and culture that you're losing to teams with no stars. Is this an assistants/players problem or a Fred Hoiberg problem? Credit Bill Moos for us spending the next 1-2 years figuring that out.
  18. I suspect at no point during a last possession did anyone not pass the ball to Teddy Allen on that New Mexico St team.
  19. How good has this team you've watched been over the last 3 years? How much of a team player do you think a guy who doesn't seem to give a crap who the coach or the team is will be? So yeah it sucks we're probably losing a really good player but what sucks more is having really good players on bad teams. By all means still decide to come here or don't.
  20. I sure hope we're doing better than the usual suspects
  21. If we have guys or recruits who feel like a guy who doesn't coach is their biggest reason for being here is it really a wonder that this team looked uncoached most of the season?
  22. Feels like that was a tongue-in-cheek comment
  23. In terms of talent it's possibly a big loss here. He's got a BIG body and ability. It's always been about fit and we were always looking at a guy here who isn't necessarily a PG to come in and be our PG. In some regards it feels like we haven't been recruiting PG depth so that Lloyd just gets the job by default. It's felt like that's how we've recruited the PG position for the last 3 years. Let's hope the change at least results in us putting together a more cohesive team.
