    if we're the team he flips to, i'd imagine it would happen pretty fast. he already knows everything we have to offer.

    there's a chance that a guy born in nebraska and a former nebraska player will have won the ncaa championship and nba championship in less than a year, yet we're sitting here with no ncaa tourney wins.

    yep. was just pointing out they have already signed a point guard for 2017. any chance we get any of these guys here for the spring game?

    getting either smith or allen would be huge. tough to land a top 150 prospect this late in the process, and they both happen to play a position of need.

    allen or smith could be our point guard of the future. hopefully we can get at least 1. have to like our chances if OSU backs off. just checked and OSU signed a point guard 8 days after allen committed to NC State. hopefully miles is still on good terms with allen.

    i'm aware, but Miles has to win this year so why would he bring in 2 guys who have to sit out?

    if miles can't land mark smith, he needs to go all in and get 2 big time grad transfers. Miles needs to put a winning team on the court next year.

    miles will have to find a guard somewhere. our backcourt needs help for sure. not sold on gill or taylor as a starter, and palmer is a mystery at this point.

    attendance will be fine if we can put a .500+ team on the court.

    akoy is trolling hard and is clearly bitter things haven't worked out for him at louisville or georgetown. he should get in the gym instead of tweeting.

    would we have tried to get him if miles had been fired?

    not too upset about fuller/horne leaving. if miles can find a couple petteway/white type transfers to fill their spot then we'll have a chance to be real good next year.

    one thing we have going is we can offer playing time. he could easily start at the 2 from day 1, especially if the palmer rumors turn out to be true.

    i can't blame horne. he should have gotten more minutes imo. i know that fuller and horne were the most likely to transfer, but still not a good sign that we've lost 2 players before the ncaa tourney has even started.

    it really depends how many players transfer from our team. if 3 players transfer, then pickford makes sense. if 1 player transfers, i'd try to find a better prospect or grad transfer. you'd think with this being a make or break year for miles, he's going to want players that can play right away.

    we had coaches in attendance in his last game where he put up 45 16 and 5. not sure what our chances are here, but i would assume illinois and indiana both firing their coaches would help.

    i was impressed with strom. had he not missed a few layups, he could have come close to putting up 20 and 20 tonight. chang was in rough shape tonight. literally playing on 1 leg.

    am i wrong in assuming he'll get free tuition weather he gets a scholarship or not? might make our chances of getting him as walk on that much better. he's going to need a redshirt year to get bigger.

    groce was coaching a team in a recruiting hot bed that made the finals 10 years ago. miles was coaching a team that's never won an ncaa game. that's the difference.
