    well they did win 26 games and made the tourney which makes me wonder why he'd want to come play the same amount of minutes here.

    i heard morrow told miles in player meetings he wanted to take a redshirt year to fully heal up his foot injury and work on his shooting, and miles wasn't real excited about that.

    the odds of us finding a big better than morrow before next season are about 0%

    I heard jacobson wants to be a stretch 4 and was upset when miles basically told him to stop shooting 3s the second half of the season. he took 20 3 pointers in the non con and 3 during conference play.

    no way riley would survive another 6 win or worse season. 7 wins should be the absolute minimum to even consider keeping him.

    there's immediate playing time for sure. gill and taylor did not look like starters to me, and palmer is a mystery. Allen could realistically start at the 2 over them.

    he'll be a first rounder but probably could have worked himself into a top 5-10 pick if he came back next year.

    i have to wonder if miles will take any guys that have to sit out. this is kind of an all or nothing year for miles. make the tourney and probably buy your self 3 more years or don't make the tourney and probably get fired.

    we're still an attractive option if he wants playing time. we have no underclassmen guards.

    1 thing to consider is that miles has lived in the midwest his entire life. i'm not sure he'd want to move to new mexico

    if miles left i think we could get crean, and I am pretty sure crean would be an upgrade. 2 big 10 championships, 3 sweet 16s, 1 final 4. though i don't see miles leaving unless glynn leaves... but some people are saying glynn leaving is a real possibility.

    your post assumes nobody else is transferring. 36 hours ago, nobody would have thought ed was leaving. there's no guarantee that the roster turnover has ended. we have 5 months until fall semester starts. we just have to hope for the best, but it isn't looking good for miles right now.

    if glynn transfers within the next week, they'd have to seriously consider letting miles go. yes, eichorst said miles will be back but that was before potentially our 2 best players left the team.

    i guess the only chance is if he wants to play with Nana or miles has convinced him he can put up tai's numbers from day 1.

    gill and taylor are both career 25% 3 pt shooters. there's a reason we've offered about 7 guards in the last 2 weeks.
