I find it interesting that we are going after him. He just seems like another version of Griffiths. Amos can probably protect the rim a little bit better. This tells me that there is a strong chance Mast comes back and plays.
-
It's because of AJ Storr. Storr was much more versatile offensively and defensively. Wiscy was a a NIT team with Essigian playing a lot of minutes in 22-23 and this year the Badgers were a 5 seed in the tourney with Storr. I guess I would take Essigan, but it wouldn't get me that excited.

I think a good comparison for Griffiths is Payton Sandfort from Iowa. Both have good length and can shoot lights out. Sandfort struggled his first year in the Big Ten, averaged 10 per game his sophomore year and then exploded last year. I think its reasonable to expect Griffiths to average double figures. Great pickup!

I would be shocked if Worster isn't the starter. He can handle the ball, pass really well and play solid defense. We don't need him to score double figures every game. We needed a game manager and that's exactly what we got. Great pick up!

I wouldn't look too much into this. Rothstein is making his rankings based off who could come back. For example, I find it hard to believe that Alexander and Kalkbrenner will be back for Creighton. Nebraska will be on this list by then of the transfer portal cycle especially if Mast comes back.

Griffiths would fit our system to perfection.

Awesome, thanks! We need Rienk back!

Yea this one hurts. Sadly, players and coaches have lost a lot of loyalty in college sports. Do you really think players these days even care about the program? My guess would be no. Hopefully we can get someone better from portal.
-
I'm glad that CJ stuck it out the last three years. He won us a couple games this year especially the Wisconsin game. He is a guy we should all be rooting for in his final collegiate season.

I'm sure Hoiberg had meetings with all the guys today. Clearly Rice did not like what was said. I guess this probably means we have someone close to locked up from the portal who is older, more polished.

uneblinst's postgame chatter: vol 16; ed 34- Texas A&M

I was at the game. A&M was incredibly athletic, maybe more so than Illinois. The Husker offense played good enough to win. Sadly, A&M shot lights out from 3 and made some circus shots at the rim. Wade Taylor is unreal. Unfortunately we got a really bad draw. -

I’m guessing Miss St., CSU, or New Mexico in Memphis.

Who would you rather play ? We match up really well with Indiana, but beating a team three times is incredibly difficult. Penn State is scrappy with some athletic guards that could give the Huskers some problems. I think I would rather play IU because they cant shoot from behind the arc and our 2pt defense has been rock solid most of the year.

uneblinst's postgame chatter: vol 16; ed 30- Rutgers

Give credit to Rutgers defense. They were all over us. Huskers did a great job of staying poised in the offense. That 10 point run by Tominaga in the second half was unreal. I think were dancing! Go Big Red! -
