Officiating at all levels continues to get worse. It seems like there is never a good flow to games. I don't necessarily think the game is much more physical. Just maybe more fouls are being called. Seems like we would get better action if we didn't have one team going to the line every other possession.
I'm for getting rid of block/charge. Nobody will be flopping if there won't be a call. Most of the time it is a setup anyway. Player being set has turned into player that can slide under a guy in the air and get set.
Some of the games are on AXS.tv
Should have played in it if actually offered. Could have won the thing. Would have been good for the players and coaches to know what it takes to extend a season in tournament play.
Don't like it at all if we were actually offered a bid. Which may not have happened; interest doesn't necessarily mean a spot. Games are games. Not a very good attitude by the team. Playing late into March is important regardless of the tournament so the players and coaches know how to do it. It certainly is a different experience having a season extend for a couple weeks. Tim Miles and next year's players have never been past the first weekend in division 1.
Anybody, anywhere, anytime.
Yeah I assume we didn't get an invite.
Last year Pittsburgh won the CBI and are back in the NCAA tourney this year. Oregon won a couple years ago and are in the tourney.
Wisconsin vs. Ohio State for the championship.
I kind of think the Big 10 should try doing a Milwaukee or Omaha at some point. Like has been mentioned previously we probably will see the tournament in Brooklyn in the future.
I don't see anyone leaving.
I like Parker. He is pretty good on the defensive end and quick. He could turn into a pretty good role player under Miles. Won't necessarily be a starter but could be a great change-up guy off the bench.
It will be a mistake if Miles runs anyone off unless he fills that spot with a 5*
I will since it is just the quarters. It isn't like the Big 12 didn't have Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma State, Missouri. Get to the semis for the first time since Collier's final season then it gets interesting.
