Have to pull down defensive rebounds. Iowa is getting too many 2nd chance points.

Scoring pace favors Nebraska.

That was a pretty break by Iowa when they went up 21-17.

Pushing the pace a bit too much on offense. Need to get better shots.

A 5 star that hasn't necessarily done anything. He was beat out by younger players. My guess he would be an incoming senior? I'd rather build with younger guys.

I'm serious. We don't need a transfer that is going to be hard to mold into the program.

It also made him change the offense. They simplified some things for the young guys so they just run the play instead of thinking so much.

I'd rather we look for a high school player.

That should be our offense going forward anyway. This season the offense flows so much better when we take it inside. My main point is making it so the game doesn't have a good flow for Iowa. I know we outscored Indiana but I'm not sure that will be successful a majority of the time for this team.

I'm actually not sure how well we match-up with Iowa. They can put up quite a few points. In that regard, Northwestern is probably the better match-up this week. I think we have to make the Iowa game ugly. Go hard inside, get fouled.

I guess, but you have to build on it. If they don't get it done at home it won't matter. 2 down. 16 to go. A lot of conference games left.

Now back home where they haven't played well. This start should have the fans energized. The team has to continue bringing the energy. Good opportunity to get at least one before going on the road again.

Feels like we have Indiana's number in basketball. Strange.

Maybe because he isn't a 3 point shooter? He would do well to stick to a mid-range game. Rick Smits had a pure shot, but he wasn't a 3 point shooter.

It was a non-televised, non-conference game against Southern.

Seemed about like a normal non-conference for the past many years. They beat Marquette a 20 game winner and eventual NCAA team. Their losses weren't bad. UAB won 24 games and made the tournament. Then both Florida State and Creighton were on the road. Both won 20 games and made the NIT. That team was also in the NCAA conversation. But like many Nebraska teams couldn't get the win. McCray wasn't returning. Anyway, I would call it a wash. Depending on what happens for the rest of this year.
