  1. It’s already been announced by Coach Hoiberg a few games ago that Blaise was taking a medical redshirt this year. He moves like a 46 year old during warm ups. Serious.
  2. I think Brice is very talented. I liken his game to a poor man’s Andrew White. Maybe a bit quicker but not as great of a shooter. Brice has a nice mid range jump shot that can be very effective when he’s guarded by smaller guards. Defensively, he lacks the quickness to guard opposing guards, and even some wings. I think the thing that drives me and probably a lot of us diehards crazy at times are the mental lapses. Like dribbling off his leg going down the court. Or the top of the key, telegraphed, lazy passes. Or not appearing to go all out after a loose ball. Those drive me crazy. Last night he had a nice box out and rebound. He had a great fadeaway turnaround jumper. He is capable of really, really helping us. But I think he’s adjusting to a different role and sometimes playing out of his natural position. I’m tough on him but I really want to see him engaged and back with a killer’s mentality. Also, some people just have a demeanor to them that just naturally shows laidback, chill, aloof, etc… That may be part of it as well. I’m rooting for him, and all Huskers, to be able to be consistent.
  3. I tend to agree. Look at our reaction when we lose a tough game in the road. Now imagine it if we lose our remaining 3 road games, Indiana and Ohio State won’t be give me’s and who knows w Michigan…
  4. New lineup would help w rebounds on paper, but led to some strange combinations out there. Not enough scoring punch off the bench
  5. I continue to be perplexed by the crazy inconsistency by certain players. Look all conference at home and then on the road look like a first game freshman. It has to be a confidence and mentality. That’s ultimately on each individual player with the help of the coaches and staff. Michigan is feeling good with their win. Hope we catch them overconfident
  6. Looking at the schedule down the stretch, even if we hold serve at home, and don’t win at IU, OSU, and Michigan, I’m not feeling great unless we win 1 in the tourney.
  7. Those lazy passes couldn’t have worked at Charlotte, am I right??
  8. Would rather lose by 14 than 30 honestly
  9. Fellas, I hope the end result isn’t a resume killer. As in. Losing by 30+
  10. Sure hope Fred has another animated speech left in him. Very disappointing. Does Mast have any points? The inconsistency is driving me nuts. By all the guys. And I officially hate Boo Booey.
  11. Not sure mocking Keisei is the greatest idea
  12. Second straight road game we’ve had subs sitting for at least 5 or 6 possessions while the other team goes on a big run. And Fred finally calls a TO
  13. Can’t have Wilcher guarding a guard….hut can’t have him guarding a big man either…
  14. I would like all of them to come back. NIL will need to help out
  15. I like the bigger lineup with Jo, Juwan. And Mast. Need Kieta to get healthy or Diop to play like Embid
  16. We jumped 5 spots in the NET after the loss
  17. Great performance tonight. I think we can safely say Keisei is out of his mini shooting slump. I loved his aggressive drives- didn’t just settle outside the 3 pt line. They really bottled up Wilcher (held) Wish Brice could’ve gotten a just one or two to fall. Jo is our hustler. Love his energy. Juwan - he’s the dawg Mast shooting outside like that - really opens things up JL…..well…. Refs hosed us and I hope we beat NW
  18. Good fight. Wish mast would’ve shot it
  19. It’s hard to win on the road with refs homering
  20. Love Mast. But my goodness someone teach him how to box out his MAN!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Offense must go thru KT - look at his stats this game
  22. We need another Juwan on the boards
  23. Love Mast offensively but a little more KT would be good
  24. Finally Fred calls a timeout. 3 subs waiting a long time to try and get in
