Berke is kind of goofy. Wish he played more like the Joker -

I noticed Gary standing the entire time, not sitting on the bench with the team, wonder if he’s dinged up?? -

Is number 1 from Washington really just Kevin Cross in disguise? -

Some guys just don’t value the basketball like they should. Berke trying to throw a rocket pass cross court - not good -

I see my post about them setting a record for 3 point shooting came true. Trauma was justified -

I’m just hoping Washington doesn’t have a school record setting night from the 3 pt line. Trauma of being a diehard for so long -
Yeah, I know that. He didn’t love that. That’s why we brought in a 6th year point guard through the transfer portal. Rollie was penciled in to be the primary ball handler. That hasn’t always been the case this season, so a bit different than what he thought.
-
By different role, I meant bringing the ball up and playing point guard.
-
He’s being asked to carry a huge load and a different role than what was painted for him returning. We are really going to miss him next year but I’m enjoying this season with him here

Brice and Juwan have less pressure if Morgan can give us 12+ points or Connor can hit 5+ threes -

Speaking of which, did everyone notice we had a new PA Announcer for the Illinois game??? Wasn’t sure if the regular guy was just sick, or if it’s a permanent switch? -

Huge win. Super happy for the fellas. It was a tough losing streak that took a toll mentally - but they got out of it and now just need to ride this momentum -

But Fred needs to be able to call timeouts too during these 11-0 runs -

Great win. Wasn’t pretty but a win is a win. Still some hope. Hope this gains some confidence and swagger back -
Let’s put something to rest right now

Athletic Department revenue set a record but expenses also set a record. 23/24 see a 6.7mm profit. Football was some, basketball, and then Volleyball. It’s ludicrous. -
There is currently a thread on another message board where the OP is seriously asking why the university of nebraska doesn’t drop the men’s basketball program and replace it with………Hockey. His main reason is the futility of the program the past 100 years. I know initial reaction is to laugh this off, but I was surprised how many other people chimed in with support for the idea. Now, knowing the numbers, I know this is preposterous. So I chimed in. Nebraska already has a hockey team and it’s in Omaha.

It’s just really rough. Nobody is hurting more than the players and coaching staff. They didn’t anticipate the rails/wheels falling off. Our vibe after the UCLA game was that we should be ranked. All was well. Many on here were posting that they liked this team, a lot. But you know, you like the team until you don’t. Unfortunately, they are in a big funk and hole. Something is not right with Brice. Physically, maybe. But mentally, yes. We need major upgrades at just about every position, Mast, Connor, and Sam about the only ones that should have a spot. I think the jury is out on Berke, he has shown some flashes, but he has to be better.

Sounds like Sam H and Andrew M could be getting the start vs Wisconsin….saw that info on the scarlet shoot around page on X

The team is sticking together for the most part. No real agendas but some guys need to pick it up a notch or 5 -
Gavin isn’t very strong with the ball and his in game turnovers that led to run outs were a main reason why he didn’t see time - and he couldn’t hit his threes. seems like a ton of the load is on Brice and Juwan and it looks like they are both fighting through fatigue at times
-
Who are the other 2??

Something is off fellas. The whole mojo. Our lack of leadership. Brice and Juwan are supposedly the leaders, but Brice looks like he’s moping and picking and choosing when he wants to be aggressive. I really liked the foul merchant Brice that was going to the line 7-10 times per game. Now he almost seems like he’s lost a bit of confidence. Rollie just doesn’t know how to properly space on fast breaks. Multiple times tonight I saw him go towards his teammate on the fast breaks, that’s basic, upward level basketball 101. Uhlis and Rollie can’t shoot well enough. I love Connor but let’s stop the Keisei comparisons. Keisei scored on drives and mid ranges and crazy layups that energized the vault and crushed the other teams morale. We don’t have that this year. No spark plug outside of Sam. Our bigs are….big. But my goodness they aren’t all that fast/quick and not as tough as I was hoping. Fred is going to have to hit the portal and maximize the portal to the absolute max - I personally would have taken Fidler and or Saint over Gavin. Cant have any misses in the portal next year.
