I shouldnt say you cant be finesse... the edge must be there on the other end of the floor. I will say this and as much as I detest the team to the east of us- that is what we are looking to do, pace and space.. I dont think any of us would deny they would be top 3-6 in the league this year. I wouldnt say his system isnt a good fit...I think he needs a couple of recruiting classes to find out for sure.. I think Fred and Doc compliment each other really well and before I say its not a great fit I think we need to see what the next 2 classes do.

I agree about the 2020 class... but how about 2021 class? I think thats where judgement should start. Spot on about style.. you better be ready to D up. You can be fast- but you cant be finesse.

Funny the more the team gets experience playing with each other the more efficient they are.

The disconnect I have is with jumping the gun on this staff's first full recruiting class, with a pandemic, with stopping for 30 days.. not having Walker for almost all year.. and we are supposed to be doing what??? On top of that against the league that is on its way according to Pomeroy as the most difficult EVER. Can we maybe wait until at least next year to place judgement on these guys? Please? I mean dont you think thats just a little bit reasonable?

I dont think the post was well thought out. I dont think he knows how good Breidenbach or Kesiei will be. None of us do. But the folks that matter think we brought in the 4th best class in the conference and I for one am not going to complain. Its ok to disagree and you and Diehard have the right to your opinion. I guess if things havent changed next year at this time- then we can criticize with some reasonable evidence.

I agree that the sunshine pumpers are just that. However I dont see any reason for the harsh criticism, given this is year 2 (if you want to call it that) and are trying to implement a system involving all new players.

You do understand that it takes a bit for talent to gel, and losing a month (in the worst possible month) January is when you tend to see teams get it together, factor in a short non conference, no Derrick Walker for first half.. come on. It was a harsh take. Unless you are being completely unreasonable.

Yeah Lakes is borderline. Kid can hit from the arc. So he could be here. Especially when this group figures out this system. We are seeing it progress very slightly, ie first 9 or so minutes against Wisconsin. In the system I agree Lakes is an asset. People need to understand this thing could be closer than we think. The pieces are here.. I really believe that because I have seen it. We need reps, reps and more reps. And most importantly we need to bring 7 or 8 of these guys back... that is very important.

Here is my take on who i think should be here next year. I really think we need to keep in mind that this year really hurt because it was supposed to be a time to improve in some areas and develop court time and just get "older". We still can do that regardless of the month break due to COVID. Need to play as many games this year as possible for development.
