  1. I take it DJ is DJ'ing big tonight. Man, I miss being abe to watch these things....
  2. almost thinking first runs wins this thing...sheesh....
  3. they're still michigan, and they'll attract top shelf talent if they're willing to go thru the process in admin. they took the easy route with Juwan...likely not going to do that twice.
  4. dude needs some anger management work. job likely too stressful for Juwan. Hopefully he gets his poop together.
  5. A whole lot of my Lincoln peeps from the80s would love those matchups, especially Duke (the semi-official team of anyone from Lincoln East/High)
  6. My man Dewey.....to me the most chill band of the 70s. Having a bad day? No prob. Head down Ventura Highway and all that mess is gone.
  7. even the coaches are getting like the pros now. it's gonna be spectacular when this system finally implodes. some serious overhauling ahead in collegiate sports.
  8. The thing about jobs like these is they require that you leave your dignity and pride at the door, and for some of us, that's too high a price...:) Being professionally wrong should come with hazard pay for the shrink session you'll ultimately need.
  9. hahaha....put Trev at some small, D 3 hole in nowhere....Alaska-Fairbanks D2?
  10. love your guv taking a nice butt-covering bath there! "don't blame me for the love of all that's holy!" i love UNL so much, but to see it in the reckless hands of some of these morons saddens me greatly.
  11. This stuff happens on the academic side all the time at state schools, especially at flagships in "hostile" territory where there is a political environment of being anti-public education. Deal with this all the time here in Oklahoma. There are politicians who make entire careers of bad mouthing intellectuals of all stripes. As someone that still takes students for private tutoring in advanced politics (when I'm healthy enough, obviously), it never ceases to amaze me how little our people know about their system andits unique little glitches But the one topic I get the most requests for teaching subcourses in is, of course, intersections between sports and politics. These two have been squabbling bedmates for years and it's nearly impossible to get clear separation between them. Edit: Okay, *now* I'm outta tis thread...sorry 'bout that
  12. For the record, no one knows the details of this incident at the point and *everything* is speculation for the most part. it's fine to have pet theories of why things have gone the way they gone, but there's no need to be partisan about any of it. And with that, I'm outta this thread.
  13. Already formulating as many ridiculous Trev Alberts and the Tijuana Brass Balls references as I can sneak in.
  14. Bill Moos, Carnival Cruise Lines' Activities Director Casino Division
  15. It doesn't. I'm posting this so this idea doesn't gain any traction in here...if this is a violation, by all means remove it, but it should end a bunch of speculation that we have a bunch of AD personnel moving because of state taxes....https://www.cbpp.org/research/state-budget-and-tax/state-taxes-have-a-minimal-impact-on-peoples-interstate-moves. It's non-partisan, btw
  16. what the hell did I just wake up to?!?! trev's heading for texas? bill byrne part deux? i think i'm just gonna pretend this ain't true for now and that it's the most elaborate ploy to date for something requiring an elaborate ploy. I'm going bck to sleep.
