Interestingly enough, I'm typing this about 50 miles away from his house...:) He's just up in Hattiesburg I'm just frustrated to see such a huge opening opportunity so thoroughly squandered.

wow, you're picking the Huskers! good on ya. I'm finding myself clock-watching for this one; I usually regret those games 'cause you get all hyped up for a twenty point thrashing most of the time. But I can't help it. It really is a big game for both teams. I just have no idea which NU team is coming out of that locker room. And I suspect, neither does staff.

both road games, but I think meeting expectations is slightly more important than not meeting them. i'd take the OSU loss (it's a good loss) and the Rutgers win (to still get a road win AND avoid a bad loss). But really, we're winning this scenario either way, frankly.

haven't followed the women's team this year, and I kinda regret it, looking at that stat sheet. Who in Bob Devaney's name is undefeated on the road and 6-5 at home????? That is absolutely bizarre. Someone stick these sisters in a hotel during home games or something.

big win, though. played our best full game of the year, broke an o-fer against UM, and let the committee know we can play with tourney caliber teams. lots of ice broken for one game.

solid win, but still at home, and at this point of the season, don't be surprised if it's not all that huge of a climb.
