  1. Basketball-wise and food-wise.
  2. I gotta be honest. There are a lot of people out there to worry about and care about and hope they're doing well and worry for if they're not. I don't wish for anything bad for Cam, but I'm not going to pretend to care where he goes or what he does from here. He doesn't seem to care enough to make sure that he doesn't make bad decisions and get suspended, so I'm not going to give more of a shit than he does. That might sound harsh, but I'm just being honest. I have a little bit of care fatigue right now and I'm a lot more concerned about all the bar and restaurant owners and workers (among many others) who don't have a livelihood right now.
  3. He will get looks. They may or may not be "open." That's what he brings to the table. You can guard him. You can jump in his gym shorts. He's still going to get the shot off and probably be pretty accurate with it.
  4. Kavas had a clumsy looking shot. So many moving parts. It's easy for that kind of shot to break down when you are under pressure or you're missing. This kid's mechanics are very simple and repeatable. I expect he'll be more consistent than Kavas.
  5. The list of interested schools says a lot for what schools are NOT included. Mid-majors all. Not a single P5 school. Not one. Doesn't exactly scream "NBA talent" at you, does it? I wonder if he was at all surprised by the lack of P5 interest when he announced his transfer.
  6. Oh. Maybe it was you. Maybe it was here. You'll note I didn't take credit for it.
  7. Well, I see I didn't stir up any shit with my hot Frida take. Wait till I tell you what I thought of Ginger and Maryann.
  8. I know this is going to veer this thread way off topic and I'm probably going to piss a lot of people off with this very unpopular take, but ... I always thought Frida was better looking than Agnetha. There, I said it. And I meant it.
  9. Yeah, see I disagree with this. Before Kevin announced his transfer, I described him as either a way -undersized big man with A+ skills or a wing with average skills and athleticism. He might raise the ceiling on his athleticism, but he's probably topped out on size. I like the kid, but I don't ever see him being an impact player for us, and I think he could be an absolute stud at a mid-major program. I think he's smart finding a place where he could really leave a mark. I see his trajectory being a lot like Jeriah Horne. And that's not a bad thing at all.
  10. Wasn't my joke; I stole it from someone else on here.
  11. Best line I've seen about this transfer came from someone on Twitter: Because of this, they're having to amend the BYU student code of conduct for women to say "First, do no Haarms."
  12. Don't know. Haven't seen enough of The Ellis or Nutter to choose. I want a shooter who can rip the nets and Lakes seems to fit that bill. Sanogo is also both best available player and position of need. And Nutter could be 2021 if he wanted, I believe.
  13. He plays on the same team as Adama Sanogo. I posted a condensed game video in the Sanogo thread in which Zarique had a pretty good game. The kid is very athletic. Climbed the ladder for a put-back dunk of a Sanogo miss and then hit treys on back-to-back possessions. Has a nice looking shot from deep.
  14. I get that, but from what I understand, Robin is pretty confident in his crystal ball prediction and has re-confirmed that confidence relatively recently. So ... take that for what it's worth.
  15. Part of my basis is Hoiberg's public statement that we're sitting pretty good with a *couple* of high profile recruits. When, at the time, we only had one spot available. And then, shortly thereafter, another spot opened up. Sumthin's cookin.
  16. He averaged 17 1/2 points and 7 boards as a true freshman. That's at least worth kicking the tires.
  17. Yes. Yes it does. I think Washut thinks we land him in the end. Just a matter of time. That's the sense I get but I have no particular inside information.
  18. I think we've drifted into a political discussion here, which I thought everyone had agreed not to do a long time ago. All I was curious about was whether people think we'll have a basketball season next year. I had no intention of this devolving into a discussion about whether our government has handled it well or not. I think most people will view the government's response through their ideological/political lens, so I'd respectfully ask people to refrain from going there. Edit: By "next year" I mean the one that would ordinarily start this coming fall and would end next year.
  19. The film is not as impressive as the stats are:
  20. GP MIN FG% 3P% FT% REB AST BLK STL PF TO PTS 30 35.2 55.8 42.9 58.1 6.8 2.2 0.5 0.9 2.4 3.5 17.4
  21. By the way, I just now saw that tweet above. I posted this thread before I saw the tweet, so it didn't influence my answer. But it's interesting nonetheless.
  22. I think the public's tolerance for risk vs. continued willingness to accept limitations on personal freedom will flip by the beginning of August, if not beforehand. People are getting more and more stir crazy. They want to get back to work; they want to get back to their social lives. There will come a point in time in the not too distant future where I predict people are going to think the risk of getting the disease is not significant enough to justify remaining home from things they want to do. I think you can talk people into making small sacrifices for an extended period of time or really big sacrifices for a small amount of time. But I don't think the public has the stomach for really big sacrifices for an extended period of time unless people are dropping like flies. So ... I think the season goes off as planned. There might be a slight delay if schools don't open up to students until the start of classes. That puts programs behind in conditioning and they might make up for it by pushing back the start of the season just a touch. But I'm going to say it'll be a go and people will be in the mood for some entertainment.
  23. I think they probably leave a spot for him and if he goes elsewhere, it would be available for a mid-season transfer or a guy who happens to come available after Sanogo makes his call.
