  1. VCU won, but I’m not thinking that’s a huge deal unless they go on a huge win streak. Their metrics, both predictive and resume, are pretty bad. They also have 2 Q4 losses.
  2. This suspension still makes me laugh. It’s so odd.
  3. Yeah— the bold team is the bubble team. Some are more bubbly than others and mostly just personal opinion on who is bubbly from what I can gather.
  4. Results (2/7/24): The only real notable result is probably FAU losing to UAB. A few more losses by the owls combined with Memphis losing could make that a 1 bid league. North Dakota has now won 7 in a row and sit atop the Summit. 5. Lack of an offense is a worry despite Jordy's injury.
  6. UND has won 7 in a row and sit atop the Summit standings.
  7. Bahl also was injured. Sigh.
  8. That's pretty cool for a kid from Aurora. (That's the nicest thing I can probably say about a Creighton player -- I feel kind of dirty)
  9. Not the best start for Jordy. Struggled to find the zone and was pulled after 2.1 innings. Huskers down 8-0.
  10. Huskers starting the year ranked in the Top 25 and starting off with two teams ranked in the Top 15. Big one today and tomorrow.
  11. Hey good to see we're all rooting for the same teams. Would be awkward for us to be cheering against each other later with both of our end goals being that it helps the Huskers. LOL
  12. Results (2/7/24): Most bubble teams took care of business and Creighton couldn't even throw us a bone. Big 10 Games Wisconsin 68 @ Michigan 72 Nebraska 68 @ Northwestern 80 Non-Con Opponents Games Davidson 72 @ Duquesne 59 Creighton 87 @ Providence 91 Other Bubble Games Georgetown 70 @ Seton Hall 76 Louisville 92 @ Syracuse 94 Pitt 67 @ NCST 64 Valpo 61 @ Indiana St 101 Southern Illinois 88 @ Drake 92 Portland 64 @ Gonzaga 96 Texas A&M 79 @ Mizzou 60 Georgia 62 @ Miss St 75 Games To Watch (2/7/24): Biggest bubble games for us are, as Dimes noted, the Memphis game and the Oregon St. game. Utah and Oregon are both probably in(ish) though more bubbly than locks. Pac 12 isn't great, so losses in that conference aren't great either. Similarly, Florida Atlantic is probably solidly in. However, they've looked shaky in many of their games and a few losses by them could ensure that they are in a 1 bid conference if Memphis continues to lose but would beat them in the conference tournament. 13. 5/7 down the stretch and for every game under 5, we probably need 1 in the B1G tournament.
  14. He hit a few shots late… oddly enough when we were running and gunning. Maybe this team needs to try and play a little faster at times? Less thinking and more just letting it rip.
  15. So we need Mast to be a distributor and also knock down some threes? Sounds like a PG to me! Lol In all seriousness, it seems that this team goes as Mast goes. Nights where he’s dishing and hitting turn out well. Nights where he is off, the team is off.
  16. *Whispers* sounds like Sam Hoiberg without the height.
  17. Couple of random thoughts this morning… 1. I thought J Laws stat line and overall hustle/demeanor were good last night considering the different starting lineup. I think he’s earned that starting spot back… partly because we’ve got to move away from the starting lineup we rolled out last night. 2. The starting lineup was a good idea in theory, but we had no one athletic enough to stay with Boo on switches. We also didn’t attack the glass much considering the big lineup we rolled out. I’m ok with starting Juwan and JLaw again. 3. The press… how much of that success was due to NW being in coast mode? Not for sure. What I do know is that this team likes to play fast and it seems to really give them a boost. Wouldn’t mind starting the game regular and then when we bring in Sam and Jo off the bench, moving to the press for a bit. Especially in games where we have slow starts like last night.
  18. Lose Saturday and the wheels may really fall off. Win Saturday and you get a week off before your next game and 13 straight days at home.
  19. Good news is that we're 13-3 in Q2-Q4 games this year. Our remaining schedule... Michigan- Q3 PSU- Q3 @IU- Q2 Minny- Q3 @OSU- Q1 Rutgers- Q3 @Michigan- Q2 Bad news is that there isn't a lot of room to slip up here.
  20. Good point. Travel schedule was rough on our guys for sure flying Sunday night and again Tuesday afternoon. Only one real day at home. Got a week off coming up soon. Just need to hold serve until then.
  21. 1-10, but yes... point stands.
  22. Huskers 75 Michigan 68 3 players with 5 rebounds.
  23. It was actually going decently well for us there for a few minutes
  24. If we could (LOL) tie this up... no Berry or Buie for OT would be fantastic.
  25. Where T actual F was the shove off on Keisei???
