Not to mention he’s now winning games at a program that wouldn’t necessarily be considered a hot bed of basketball success. Honestly, if we had another previous coach who was still a head, I’d like to track him too. I’m pretty sure we followed Doc’s Southern Miss teams on here back in the day.

Big 10 has had some better wins of late-- but Minny and PSU both lost today to San Francisco and VCU respectively.

Quite the run into the playoffs and making it this far. After how this season started, I was... worried. It was rough. However, we had a great run to end it and finished near a semi-final berth.

We can score.... but if we try and outscore Creighton, things will not go well for us. I feel like we've lost a little bit of that intensity on D the past few games and that can't happen in the games coming up. Also-- as noted, our intensity on the glass has also taken a tumble as of late. Because of that, we've given up a lot of 2nd chance looks and that's really hurt us. Overall though, we continue to do what we want to do and that's win by a pretty large margin. These next three will tell us a lot about where we are at/think we're at.

Creightons only lost one game. No sense in them brining it out yet. At least wait until they lose to us too.

Gut wrenching loss to lose bowl eligibility… check swept by volleyball rivals…. Check semi-gut wrenching loss to make the final 4 in soccer… check.

Yep— and our 21-10, 11-9 projected record this year means that we’d either beat Creighton or KState in the non-con. We couldn’t lose to both with that projected record. So quality non-con win as well.

CSU will definitely contend for the MWC title and may even contend for an at large if they can also knock off Colorado.

B1G currently 0-2 on the day with a real possibility of going 0-4. That combined with Creighton getting killed by CSU really disappointing for our metrics. B1G may only be a 3-4 bid league.

Creighton getting taken to the woodshed by Colorado State. Ya love to see it but hate that it’ll take attention away from our win.

I think KT is still working on adjusting to a role that is different than last year. What we need from him this year is completely different and he doesn’t have to carry the load. He can easily average 12-15 PPG without forcing anything. His best shots have been on ball reversals and when he works to get open.

What are our opponents 3% numbers in games other than ours? It’s interesting comparing these 3% defensive numbers to the thread on if our defense works because of the trapping. Obviously we haven’t been killed from 3 yet, but have we played a team that can shoot it yet?

We can’t 100% without a doubt say that we beat a tournament team last night, but at minimum they should contend for the A-10 title. That time is a post season worthy team though. 100%. Wouldn’t surprise me at all to see them in the NIT at minimum..
