KSU had moved up to 75 in the NET BEFORE their win over Baylor this evening. They should get a nice bump from that too. So as of now we are 3-3 in Q1. That is a top 15 in the nation Q1 record. There are only 20 teams in the nation with 3+ Q1 wins.
Sallis was involved in an on court scuffle at the end of the NC ST game tonight. He was ultimately issued a double tech and ejected from the game. Overall, the game had 8 total techs.
Wake lost to NC ST 83-76.
Some teams have wins that age well... our MSU and KSU wins so far have. One that hasn't? Duquesne. They fell to 0-4 in the A-10 tonight and are all alone in last place. They're sub 100 in KenPom and will probably drop more after tonight and their NET is about to drop into the 100's as well.
Watching Purdue tonight almost do what they want with Indiana on their home floor in a huge rivalry... we KNOW this team can hang with anyone in the country. Play like we did against Purdue and we won't have to worry about NET this and KenPom that.
This was huge Friday. Lose by 4-7 points, we drop, but not back into the 50’s. NET favors MOV so we need to blow teams out and avoid getting blown out.
