  1. Also speaking of game shows the documentary about the guy solving the press your luck pattern and killing it is awesome. The movie quiz show very good as well.
  2. Made me think of South Park wheel of fortune. I will just leave it at that.
  3. Would love Smits. Was a huge fan of his dad, being a big Pacer fan.
  4. Not able to try to find them at the moment but google Fred hoiberg offensive efficiency Iowa st and it should bring up some good stuff.
  5. One thing I know for sure, is that I have never seen an I hate UNL thread that is the most popular thread on the douchebag Creighton sight go so silent so quickly .
  6. Yeah, I was merely passing along what his difference is from the typical pack. Doesn't seem like much of one at all.
  7. He is more comfortable coaching without a true big, so I agree that a step down is where he probably fits in.
  8. I was reading that his defense has many traits of the Pack line defense, but their guards don't necessarily feed penetration to the middle of the court like most Pack line defenses. Not too sure what impact that has exactly.
  9. After reading up on Hoiberg's tactics I am much more comfortable with him. I can see the efficiency numbers. Why they got those high numbers is what I like. He despises long two point shots almost as much as I do. His defenses try to funnel those types of shots for opponents. Doesn't play an overly aggressive brand of defense. His defenses are designed to be able to rebound missed shots well however and avoid penetration. This almost has to result in a little more three point shooting being allowed than I would prefer. However, as big as he is on analytics, maybe not.
  10. In regards to Hoiberg, what makes him such an exciting hire to most people here? I am not saying I wouldn't want him at all. I possibly just don't see it as quite the home run that others do. I did just look at his 5 year run at Iowa St. It was extremely impressive. Would he be good with player development? I would think we would get more shooting here than in a long while(not saying much). Just interested in thoughts from others on why this would be the right guy.
  11. I did too, but for a much different reason. We were able to shoot where we played a lot more. I think that hinders us a bit at PBA.
  12. Yeah, bad enough he was in California in the first place with the Conference Tournament going on. You change your schedule if you are the athletic director of a Big 10 team that is still playing.
  13. I may be in the minority, and there were a few goaltending calls that they missed in the tourney, but I think the officiating was very good in this tournament.
  14. That also happened to be when they hit that lucky ass brick bank. I would love to see how this played out had that not happened. We were rolling.
  15. Well it was fun fellas. No matter who wants Miles to stay or go, I give him and the staff a hell of a lot of credit. They did their best coaching of the year by far in this tourney. Would have been easier to call it a day.
  16. Trueblood another gutty offensive board.
  17. agree have to try to trap once
  18. come on Glynn. Man we deserve to play again. That much I know.
  19. Plus may need to go to hack a Happ
  20. have to have Wisconsin miss the next several. It can happen.
  21. Nice shot Thor. Hopefully he doesn't think he is "hot" now:)
