Without looking at 11-14 seeds, which don't matter, same as yours with the exception of Purdue and Iowa switching seeds. NU 10th at 7-11. I just don't see them winning a road game with as poorly as they've played up to this point.

Thought NU did a better job of attacking the paint by dribbling and cutting that worked fairly well and opened up some other shots. Maybe it was just poor NW defense, but they need to keep that mentality going forward. Obviously it's more difficult against a zone which they will probably see more often than not, but they still need to attack as opposed to just passing the ball around the perimeter.

That turnover was big. Had a little momentum and a chance to get it to single digits. Tough pass (hard and close spacing) for a big guy to handle, especially given the conditions described. Probably still would have lost, but that pretty much sealed the deal.

Agree. That was absolutely bush league and the clown should be disciplined for it.

I think part of it was Walt inadvertantly got his off hand (not the one he tried to block the shot with) in the little pipsqueak's face and extended that hand/arm a bit as the guy was going to the floor - kind of like pushing off whatever object was in the way to help keep his (Walt's) balance. I'm not sure what explanation the 3 stooges gave, but there was clearly no malicious intent, just incidental contact to the head/face area.
