Well, this is the end of the regular season. Like most seasons do, it went by quickly. This is the last hurrah for our three seniors. More on them in a moment.
As for the game today, the Huskers are 12 1/2 point underdogs. The line didn't surprise me. Royalfan and I were talking Wednesday night that today's game could get out of hand very easily. That might not be all bad if we have to turn around and play the Hawkeyes in the first round of the B1G Tourney. If we get behind by 19 today like we did against them 2 weeks ago, there won't be any comeback. Let's keep it close in the first half, and go from there. Go Big Red!
Now for the seniors. Since there are only 3, I figured each player deserved his own music video. Let's hope I have better luck with these than I did the Minnesota game thread....
First of all, there's Dylan Talley. What he has done this year after moving to the point is remarkable. Never complains, just does what is asked of him. I read he has had 6 different head coaches in the last 5 years. Wow. Thanks for your two years as a Husker, Dylan. You've really improved your game. But, like probably every Juco transfer has felt, I'm sure Dylan thinks his time here was "Done Too Soon."
Next is Brandon Ubel. Talk about improvement, that guy has gone from being a 3 or 4 points per game scorer to a huge leader on this team. He represents this university and state well, and has a promising career ahead of him in broadcasting. Can't wait to see him on the Big Ten Network someday! We probably only have a couple B1G wins at the most, "If not for U."

Last, but not least, there's Andre Almeida. You gotta love this kid's demeanor, and his never quit attitude. It's easy to forget he suffered a major knee injury while still back in Brazil, a burst appendix before he came to Lincoln and another major knee injury while playing here. It was fabulous to see his performance Wednesday night against Minnesota in front of his family. The guy will have two bachelor degrees when he leaves Lincoln. Way to go, Andre!
