Looks to me like one of those contests where money comes first.....

Let me take the easy way out. You give the base (foundation) of the trophy to Ubel, and the top half goes to Talley. Being a four year player, Ubel was the foundation for this season. What Talley did as a point guard, made us as competitve as we were. Seriously, I can't pick one over the other. It needs to be a shared award this year.

I don't care what they do just as long as we win an NCAA tourney game first....

Yeah, but what else do we have? No tradition. This is as good of a place to bring it up as any, but last night while I was out reveling with the Big 12 fans at Power & Light, every conversation that I struck up with old Big 8 fans instantly mentioned the Nee era when I told them I was a Husker. First words out of their mouths were "You're a Husker? Man, that Danny Nee was a hell of a coach!" They then proceeded to rattle off all the names of the greats of the 90's...Piatkowski, Lue, Strickland, etc. They also all mentioned how much they liked Tim Miles and think he's gonna take us places. Not that it means anything, but it's nice to hear from fans from Mizzou, KSU, etc. The 90's were fun. Nee recruited the talent. Miles will too. I'm excited about the future.

Ray has some unbelievable athleticism. It will be interesting to see what he is next year.....
