  1. Do you think they'll be able to clear the stench from last night at PBA before today's game?
  2. How dare you not mention Sam Houston State?!?!?
  3. Here's the condensed version of the audio:
  4. Can we play in the SWAC for this season only?
  5. Dear Jesus, Allah, Vishnu, Krishna and John Wooden: I'm pretty sure we're sufficiently humbled by now. You may lift the curse anytime. Sincerely, Nebrasketball Fans
  6. It's gallows humor, the opposite of doom and gloom. Peace be with you, Big Red brother.
  7. Tim was great. A little talky, but that's to be expected. A sunny presence wherever he goes.
  8. UC-Riverside beat Life Pacific by 28. Southern Utah beat Life Pacific by 43. Dang.
  9. Buzzed picking is drunk picking ... Screw it USU (or is it SUU?) 74 Nebraska 56
  10. Only W I have right now is Southern. Not Southern Utah or South Dakota State. Southern. And that's it.
  11. I'm thinking Rutgers 2015-2016 team would beat these Huskers by 30.
  12. We don't seem to foul a lot. That's good, right?
  13. Do you know why Martin did not play in UCR's exhibition game?
  14. I found the stats from UC-Riverside's first game at Life Pacific's website. UCR's athletics department doesn't have them. They ran an eight-man rotation, generally, though 10 men saw action. Starters: Khy Kabellis, 6-4, Senior/Gr. (25 minutes, 9 points, 2-5 from deep, 8 rebounds, 4 assists) D.J. McDonald, 5-11, Sophomore (18 minutes, 6 points, 2-6 from deep, 0 assists) Dominick Pickett, 6-3, Junior (26 minutes, 7 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists) Daniel Mading, 6-9 Sophomore (22 minutes, 8 points, 2-5 from deep, 7 rebounds) Callum McRae, 7-1 Sophomore (27 minutes, 15 points, 9 rebounds) Bench: Zyon Pullin, 6-4 Freshman (26 minutes, 0 points, 3 assists, 4 rebounds) Zac Watson, 6-7 Sophomore (22 minutes, 8 points, 3 rebounds) George Willborn, 6-3 Junior (22 minutes, 11 points on 10 shots, 4 rebounds) Below is the image of the final stats. UCR led 37-26 at half, and won 73-45 in front of 285 rabid Highlander hoops fanatics.
  15. True. It's a sentence with double-meaning, but in the context of the opening clause "If he's ineligible THIS SEMESTER," It becomes clearer. My apologies to @Nighthawk
  16. Could only find that he was second-team all-Northeast Conference his sophomore year, averaging 2.1 steals (1st in the NEC) and 5.8 boards (14th in the NEC). The D player of the year was from Mt. Saint Mary's.
  17. Kevin Ross called. He's embarrassed by your post.
  18. If he's ineligible this semester, he'll miss 11 games: Four season-opening home games (probably not too big of a problem) Three in the Cayman Islands (may make a difference in overall record, but probably only in the opening game against WSU — if we go to the loser's bracket without him, we could still win a couple) Two road games against power-conference foes Georgia Tech and North Omaha (big problem) Two conference games at Indiana and home against Purdue (reduces our chances at an upset) His first eligibility would be at home against North Dakota on Dec. 21, the day after final exams end. He would be eligible for 20 regular-season games and all post-season games. Right?
  19. The next Dicky V. Timmy M!
  20. Sounds like a new song title from Bob Seger/Meatloaf.
  21. Dude has Iceland running through his veins.
  22. For you: Iceland cold a lot. Nebraska cold. Then hot. Then cold again. Iceland cloudy. Then dark. Then rainy. Nebraska sunny. Then cloudy. Then sunny again. Look out! Tornado!
  23. Omaha averages 2,727 hours of sunshine per year. Reykjavik averages 1,325 hours per year.
  24. Champion, Trigger and Sekatoure Henry.
