Allie Havers is example of Coach Yori's type of dedicated player

It has been interesting watching the ongoing 3 year development of Allie.  A pickup scholarship player who was rejected  by Michigan after a coaching change there is turning into a big plus.  Initially fans including me felt that getting "a 6'5" post player" would pay off immediately seeing big things from her.   But it became clear that she needed to spend a lot of time in the weight room if expected to hold her own against the B10 inside muggers.

She has been very steady in improving.  This takes hard work and dedication to the coaches approach.

From a skinny freshman who would make a good play only to be followed by several bad ones we have watched her evolve into a player who fits the system and makes many good plays in a row before a bad one.  She also benefits from a true post offense.

By the time she is ready to graduate next year we will wish she would have had the benefit of a redshirt year.

Glad to see her have great success against the team that didn't think she would fit in.  And all in front of a bunch of family and friends.
