i like our team

well 6 games in and I have had the chance to go to a game in person, and watch some on TV.  I really like our team. The chemistry seems to be very good, and I like our depth.  The bench will keep shrinking in close games to probably 7 or 8 but the more we can rest Rachel T, etc. hopefully the better their bodies hold up later in the season from the pounding.

 

I really have enjoyed the freshman, they are very talented, and Natalie Romeo is playing very well.  She really looks confident at this point, and like a veteran.

 

Kendyl will hit shots before its all said and done I think. She just lost her confidence a little bit and is trying to fit in and find her nitch. I love her smile and attitude. 

 

Hopefully we can stay healthy. Should be a fun year.

Kalenta had a great game last night and has really improved from last season, when she was apparently sick and injured. She will be a big key for us providing depth down low.

Havers has also greatly improved from last year. She seems to have gotten stronger and developing her shot.

If 43 can maintain the defensive effort she gave last night, we will have another shut down defender that will take us a long way this season. Her dad should be very proud of her effort last night. Hope he had a chance to listen to the game.

Nat and Rachel should continue to provide us with great guard play. I agree or at least hope the

Kyndal will find her shot. If she can find her shot, I believe we will have a chance to become a very good team by the end of the year with a good shot to win beat some very good teams.

Me, too.  The only thing I would bring up right now is that Jess needs to make sure her hair stays tied up.  Really bugs me that she is messing with her hair while the ball is being brought up the court.  She used to mess with her hair and sometimes her head band in HS.  Drove me nuts. 

 

So if that's the only thing I can come up with at this point in the season, then I would say we are on the way to a fun season.
