just curious if anyone has any insight on RT's foot injury? sprain? mild-severe? i mentioned it in another post, but, if it's only at the point where coach yori is "thinking" about playing her sunday, i let her sit. try and get her as healthy as possible for the last 6.

the other day i was looking at the rest of the schedule, thinking 5-1 not out of the realm of possibility (after maryland)---but, if rachel isn't out there,  every game she misses is most likely a toss-up. except for the possibility of that wisconsin game. i believe they could win that one without her.

bummer. hope she is a quick healer.

This is what Yori said right after the Rutgers game.

Yori was non-committal whether Theriot would be available for Sunday's game at Maryland.

"We'll see," she said. "Whether she's playing or not, I don't know. I don't know how much practice time between now and then she'll have."

I think she would play practice time or not if her foot is good to go.

Didn't she have some foot issues her freshman year that slowed her down? Could this be a flare-up of whatever that was?

She had a bone spur in her foot that caused her pain all through out the year that year. She had to have it ground off after the season ended. I think this is just an ankle sprain. Not sure if it's a high or low ankle sprain though. High ankle sprains tend to take a little longer to heal up.

If she just missed a couple of games....she isn't going to miss much in terms of being ready to play.

If physically ready, she could step right in, if she knows the scouting package of a given team.

But longer than missing a couple of games...... she might need some practice time too....increases.
