WAUKEE, Ia. – Waukee senior Michael Jacobson scored 13 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and recorded eight blocks in a physical, low-scoring contest. The Warriors held the Jaguars to just 10 first-half points.

Jordan Brunkow scored 13 points for Centennial, including three 3-pointers.

Here is a report on Michael Jacobson's game tonight against Omaha South--his team lost 56-52, but he had nearly 50% of his team's points:

"Jacobson collected game highs of 24 points and nine rebounds. He went 2 for 4 on 3s, 6 of 6 at the line, often brought the ball upcourt and wasn’t afraid to go inside."

Sounds like he'll be an under the radar contributor to his recruiting class. Good thing the Waukee didn't decide to play for the Wookie.

He sounds like a guy that typically goes to CU and ends up becoming a big contributor for them.  Sounds like a real sleeper...
