From the team's Facebook page

If he were playing high school basketball in the States, he would have been a top-30 player. He will eventually be the face of the program at Nebraska. This guy is always in attack mode, with the skills and confidence to back it up.

congrats. sounds like a great pickup

Jayhawk, welcome and thanks for the recruiting props. I will be at the KU-Colorado game saturday. I've been in Allen Field House but this will be the first game I'll see. Looking forward to it.

Is anyone else still cautiously optimistic since Tai still has some "high school academic work to finish". The last decade-plus of being a Husker Hoops fan has me somewhat skeptical until I see the guy on the court.

I dont see it being a problem. From following recruiting over the years the majority of Aussie/Kiwi recruits that require more academic work attend a prep school for a semester in the states since they are already done with high school over there. IE Steven Adams came from NZ last year and had to attend Notre Dame Prep, home of Matthew Atewe, to gain the required credits to go on to Pitt. If they were at all concerned I would assume he would be taking the same route.
