Okay, how about Hawkins replacing Biggs in PPG? Biggs was between 9-10 PPG, right? Hawkins could match that if he gets more confident in his shot. Hawkins is probably a better defender, rebounder, and less turnover prone than Biggs was, as well.

One of Tai and Hawkins turning it on and making a big impact shooting the ball.  We need one more good shooter badly.

Not sure It would help us win but I really want to see Walt hit a couple 3s than when they press him have him put the ball on the floor and jam it on somebody's head. Stauskas or glen Robinson trying to help on Wednesday night would be cool.

I'd like to see Hawkins start to blossom.  I think maybe we saw glimpses during the Indiana game.

 This kid can shoot it, and he's big enough to get it off from inside or out. Should be a HUGE plus for us off the bench the rest of the way.

Petteway only averaged 3 ppg as a freshman.  I think Tai and Hawkins will be fine in the long run.  I'd like to see them score more now, but it's going to take time.

Anyone that can consistantly hit a smooth pass from beyond 8 feet from the rim to a teammate driving to or standing under the rim. As opposed to being intercrpted, tipped into the 3rd row or reaching the intended target in such a way either due to timing or location makes a fluid catch and release motion awkward or impossible.

Shavon making free throws at 80+%... in case anyone's forgotten, Shields was 12-12 vs FGCU. Hasn't been so great since then, unfortunately.

 

 

Glad to see Shields tie the Jack Moore school record of 15-15 vs. Illinois.  The team being 24-27 was crucial to securing this victory.
