Good article to put things in perspective for this young man. I still remember getting homesick my first semester in college when I lived 35 miles from home. I'm leaving my kiwi avatar up and hope that Tai can eventually convince another kiwi to come here. Meanwhile, The Hobbit will give him another glimpse of home in December.

Well done.  "Fans" tend to forget that these young men are adjusting to a number of things that first year.  It is hard, especially when your parents and support group is half-way around the world.  This kid is going to be a good one.  I believe you are going to see him really step forward in the second half of the year.
