An updated Top 25 for 2013-14

Usually, the actions of one player wouldn't be enough to warrant a brand new edition of the preseason top 25.

 

But Andrew Wiggins is that darn good.

 

Wiggins -- the projected No. 1 pick in the 2014 NBA draft and arguably the top high school player since LeBron James -- on Tuesday signed a national letter of intent with Kansas, thus vaulting the Jayhawks from the bottom of our Top 25 to near the top.

 

Now that all of the top prospects have signed and the deadline to turn pro has passed, here's a final version to the rankings entering the 2013-14 season.

I'll check with my inside sources on the Doc situation. Some of these one and done guys work out and some don't. I can think of a couple of examples at KU who were in the latter category.

My inside source in Lawrence (same one who assured me Danny Manning would never leave KU) confirms that Doc wanted Dooley's job which was not offered and that Wiggins dad will be named to Doc's present position before long. Good thing he kept his house in Lincoln.
