This is all really deflating, not getting Jones or Okafor.  Having Tyus Jones eliminate us from consideration gives me almost the same feeling of hopelessness I get when I play (and don't win) the lottery.  Of course, with the lottery, I have virtually the same odds of winning as anyone else.  And, well, with Tyus Jones ... let's be honest:  We didn't have the same odds as everyone else.  In fact, our odds were a lot longer than the teams that made his final list.

 

Wow.  I feel better already.  Time to go buy a lotto ticket.  (Or maybe I'll wait until it gets over $300,000,000.  Y'know, make it worth it.)

i like this analogy...like the lotto...i had a brief small inkling of hope...we'd snag these two...than i said probably not, and i moved on.
