Bugeaters1 Posted March 2, 2013 Report Posted March 2, 2013 Can someone tell me why PSU was given the regular season championship trophy last week ? when there was still games to be played ? Quote
cwshuskers Posted March 2, 2013 Report Posted March 2, 2013 Because they earned their share. We win Sunday, we get our own trophy and cut down the nets! Quote
Cazzie22 Posted March 2, 2013 Report Posted March 2, 2013 Lady Huskers have really come on down the stretch! Hard to believe Lindsey Moore will be closing out her career. Penn St. is a difficult match up because of Greene inside. If we have our shooting touch and don't turnover the ball we have a decent chance. A B1G Co-Championship would be a fantastic finish. With a little luck in the pairings we might slip through to the Sweet 16. Quote

Row6Seat10 Posted March 2, 2013 Report Posted March 2, 2013 Greene is lucky to be playing Sunday. She had a flagrant #1 called on her early and then later on elbowed a Gopher in the face but the refs didn't call that a flagrant. Had they called the second one a flagrant she would have had to head to the showers in the Minnesota/PSU game and would have had to sit out her next game. Quote

I knew had she got the second one she was out of the game. But didn't realize she would miss the next game. Quote

For the ref's to take as long as they did on the replay then to decide that they couldn't call a foul because to much time had elapsed is a bogus call. IMHO. Had that been any other team it would have been enforced. Quote
