Maybe the Sac Bunt will get Efry going like it did Roskam.  Since the 2nd game of the Iowa series, when Roskam laid down a bunt, he is 5 - 9 with a double, home run 3 RBI's.

I think Matthews won the race to 2nd.  The ump was calling him out no matter what, though.

The only way we were going to lose a game this weekend was if we beat ourselves.

 

Currently not being able to hit it and the first error that I remember this year is doing just that.

I don't even know why you try it.  The catcher is running to 1st.  Should be an easy play.  Matthews who just beat out a nearly routine play is running to 2nd.  Almost cost Minnesota a run.
