Margaret Richards moving on up!

Not too sure how many of you remember Margaret Richards when she played for the Huskers in the early 2000's. Three years under Sanderford and one with Yori. One of my favorites for sure. Anyway, congratulations to "BG" as yesterday was a big day for her. Alabama A&M named her Women's Basketball Head Coach!!

Great job, BG.  She handled the adversity involved with a coaching change and a 1-15 conference record her senior year.  Probably learned more through adversity than if all had gone as planned.   Hope it goes well for her at the new post.

Actually she played 2 years under coach Yori. 1 and 15 her senior year in the big 12. Then 7 and 9 her senior year. She actually was listed a senior both years. Medical hardship?

You're right I had forgotten that she was forced to sit out her freshman year (prop 48) and then petitioned the NCAA for that extra year of eligibility after her senior season and got it.
