might aswell start getting excited now, who is all going to hawaii, i am part of a group of about a dozen guys heading down , we should find a husker bar down there that everyone meets up at, we did this is san antonio at mad dogs and it was off the charts, tim miles even got on the mic...i know its early but wouldnt that be sweet if we somehow had a few thousnad fans down there, or even 800ish

anybody know the team hotel.......having a harder time finding it than I usually do for football games, , any info would be apreciated as i would like to book a room there

Trust me this is not a legal decision but a financial one, us making the trny this yr creates a lot more than 50k........whether they pay him or not it they will not be reviewing it from a legal standpoint. And I think financially the 50k is a no-brainer that you pay it whether he technically earned it or not. Regardless he will be taken care of financially if he keeps this up.

That was crazy, but at michigan with all those students they have courtsite when both teams are top ten or even at marquette (there version of us playn creighton) also even at ohio st or mich st they have probably played in some similarly tough environments. That being said I don't honestly think he meant any harm with his comments and was almost trying to give some credit to our players and coaches for beating us. Basically if he said the crowd won the game for us it sort of takes away from the players who performed. I could be wrong , but thats just my opinion

ya missing a non starter does not effect anything, obviously the fact that were a different team though is already factored into our record as we won 8 of 10 or whatever it is without him.........what your referring to is based more on like marcus smart situation and whether or not the 3 they lost without him should be discounted, i dont think you should get any benefit of the doubt for a suspended player, maybe a hurt player....however with seeding you have to or else its not fair to the team who would play ok st first....meaning if ok st gets a 10 seed , well than some team who earned a 7 has to play a team that you could argue is a legit top 10 team first rnd.........keep in mind im just making up numbers for this example i dont think ok st is the best example but i couldnt think of anyone else.

furthermore the "us always" mindset means that nothing is bigger than the team, starting on sr night is not more important than maximizing the teams opportunity to make the trny, the guys will understand.........its no guarantee we will be in this situation again nxt yr or in the near future.....so how is it fair for the guys who have earned there startn spots and helped get us to this position to be benched from starting in the biggest game in school history so someone walkon has a story for his grandkids , thats funnyyyyyyyyyy ahahahahahhahaha wowwwwwwwwww cmonnnnnnnn people

this is mind boggling crazy if the people wanting to start peltz are serious.....so if wisconsin comes out and gets up 8-2, or 5-0 or whatever and we have to play from behind for 10 minutes or whole first half you think it was worth it, this isnt the ymca.......unrealllllll some of you are sayn this.......for one thing being down 6 to wisconsin is almost like being down 15 to a different team, the way they play and sit on the ball and make u defend and take high percentage shots means than get up 6 early and they will probably be ahead most of the entire first half unless they go completely cold, but they play 5 guys who can knock down shots......secondly even if you can argue peltz wouldnt "hurt us" for two minutes, who knows how that will disrupt the rythm of they guys who normally start but are now coming off the bench.......you start your best 5, this thread should b deleted , makes our fan base look ignorant

you guys will be surprised but there will hardly be any tickets being scalped on site, this is because its so easy to sell em on stubhub in advance now that most people with extras just do that, football is different cus there almost 90k seats, basketball only has 15k seats in there, and the last 2 games there have been tons of people looking for tickets and very few sellers, if you really want to get seats just pay $200 bux for a pair on stubhub, not rly worth walking all over the arena for 2 hrs sunday and crossing your fingers that you will be one of the lucky who finds seats for maybe $50-75ea.......no one will be selling for face trust me

Here's a prediction. Some a-hole over at the Creighton board will diminish this win because Noah Vonleh didn't play. Just like they say we caught Michigan State when they were slumping and Ohio State when they were slumping and so on and so forth. Just a prediction. Maybe it's happened already. Lets not try and backdoor our way into this tourney, we have an opportunity this week to take it outta the hands of the committee, all the rpi and bracketology formulas are irrelavnt if we go into bloomington and beat a team we already beat this yr and than take care of things at home on sunday.....at illinois last wk it looked like illinois was on the bubble they beat us to every lose ball and played harder...that can't happen tonight...if we get to every 50/50 ball and get off to decent start and try and take the crowd out of it we can pull this off........i know on non gamedays theres not much to talk about, but we gota game in 6 hrs, so screw rpi and bracketologoies formulas and other bubble teams losing, lets get after it tonight and make what everyone else does and the formulas irrlevant, I think miles will have them ready to compete.

Great point here. Instead of the "we're done" rationale, last night could be thought of as an opportunity to move up and an opportunity lost. In the grand scheme of the bubble and in regards to all the other bubble teams we probably lost little if any ground and there's a long ways to go.Now, that said, lose to Northwestern and we're done. Beat Northwestern and we get another opportunity at Indiana. Not saying we don't make it harder on ourselves by losing, but it's certainly not over until the entire bubble plays out their schedules. given that on btn pregame scoonie penn said he thinks we have to win out, i would say that we DEFINATELY lost ground....yes some other bubble teams will lose games, but some teams not currently on the bubble will emerge and there will also be bids stolen in conf trny's ......we lost a lota ground and now probly have to win 4 straight games to have any hope In the span of 12 hours you started a thread saying last night was not a letdown and that it wasn't realistic to expect the Huskers to win out; then said it was a huge opportunity lost, the Huskers have to win their 3 last games AND one in the tournament, not making the NCAA Tournament would be a huge disappointment and basically the sky is falling. Pick a stance and stick with it. No one knows what it will take to get us in. But I will tell you 11-7 in the Big Ten would be pretty damn good, no matter what we do at the Big Ten Tournament. you misunderstood, the illinois losss was a huge letdown to myself personally and probably a lot of the fan base..but it was not a letdown by the team, meaning i dont feel the pressure got to them or that they laid an egg, or that they overlooked illinos, my point was after the big sparty win that past husker teams would have lost the nxt game at home or one after that when we were favored, but instead we beat purdue and psu by blowouts.......illinois was favored against us and its very hard to win on the road, so yes its a huge dissapointment to me personally as we were soo close (and still have a chance) but i dont think its fair to say the team laid an egg, that was my point. I stand by my stance that we need to win the nxt 2 and 1 in trny to be a lock, and that if we lose the nxt 2 we have to atleast make the tournament final......anything else in between puts us solely on the bubble come selection sunday, have i said anything that u disagree with miles?

your telling me that if we beat wisky we are in regardless of indy, but yet many experts said even before the illinois game that we had to WIN OUT, i think thats a stretch , and 3-1 (prior to iillinois game) would work with 1 in big ten title....but to claim that 2-2 makes us a lock is pretty big homer comment, it just is, i want us to make it as bad as the nxt guy, but a few yrs ago a 10-6 colorado (in conference) got left out , and they had head to head wins over other bubble teams that made it, there are a lot of factors, it seems any 10-8 big ten team should get in , but the experts who know all the formulas and stats and have all the info are making it out to be more unlikely we get in with 2 more wins, than it is likely we get in with 1, if that makes sense....so please dont call me out for being a member a week when i know more than u abt the process , or i will bury you tough guy

ultimately that could happen, but according to the experts if we lose to indy and beat wisky we are hanging on the bubble, probably real close to a 50/50 situation, definately could get in, but ur crazy or lying if ur sayn u wouldnt be on the edge of ur seat during selection show with a indy loss and wisky win , whereas if we beat indy than the experts would probably all agree a wisky win clinches it
