it appears Robin Fralick of Bowling Green is on Minny's short list...imo, this would be big. WBCA Coach of the Year (2017, 2018)3× GLIAC Coach of the Year (2016, 2017, 2018)NCAA Division II Basketball Bulletin Coach of the Year (2017)Columbus Dispatch Coach of the Year (2016, 2017)MAC Coach of the Year (2021) <-- Her best one. would think A. Johnston and Megan Duffy is on that short list. -

that rumor has come up almost every time they are looking for a coach. i believe he is from Pine Island, Mn just north of the Twin Cities. i know there are some that believe he should be their first choice. once again, a number of people have stated no way minny will hire a male. living in SD, i hope he stays at SDSU. of course he would take a big bump in pay (i believe his base pay at SDSU is around $294,000). -
i thought the WNIT gives home games to the highest bidder? (why USD and SDSU got to play at home)

Minny got some good news: Mara Braun has announced her intentions to return. She stated she came in with the purpose to build up the program and is going to see this thing through. An incoming recruit, Kennedy Klick (Maple Grove, Mn) announced she will honor her commitment. One thing a new coach is looking at: the cupboard is far from bare...and the talent abounds in minny. if they get a good coach, i could see minny pulling a similar situation to illinois next season. -

yep.........not completely out of the question. i thought that first game with illinois was a huge hit for their chances.....then, the loss to minn? figured that most likely shut the door.

ALWAYS have liked Stewart's shot......gets squared up and nice release. one of her deficiencies probably is her passing. Just an all around great game. the five starters end up with double figures. some great drives by Krull. Jaz? man, hope she comes back, but, just a gut feeling......less than 50/50 chance.
-
in his opinion.......he said you wouldn't believe some of the stuff that comes out of their mouth!
-
maryland also has the athletes to pull that off.

just a little fyi (for what it's worth). listened to an interview with Bluder at least a year ago or so. she was talking about how shocked she was to see the improvement Czinano made between her freshman and sophomore year. something they did not really expect.

my cousin and his family have been big hockey fans for years and years. he told me one time, "you should hear girls hockey players talk...they are the worst!"

didn't the NIT remove that .500 marker? i don't know if this is true, but, heard someone mention this on the radio earlier in the week. although, i do know they discussing men's basketball at the time.

Gabee Marshall and Kate Martin return to the Iowa Hawkeyes for next season.
-
don't forget......she's practically a lock for iowa!
-
imo, the biggest negative for MM is most of this season has teetered on goals......i would have liked to see MM get more, a lot more experience at this level. still think she should have received more minutes.
-
thanks, bugs!

crazy what minnesota keeps putting out...

wish i was a little wiser with this computer stuff. anyway, on 93.7 the ticket this morning, there was a little discussion of women's basketball. bill busch, who imo is a fantastic addition to the program, is a funny, smart man when it comes to sports. he has an interesting story on amy williams. if you can find the podcast, its around the 25+minute mark. wish i was better with this stuff, but, he gives some food for thought.
