know it's a "highlight" video, but, she seems like she could be a good fit with coach williams. really try and stay away from comparisons, but, except for maybe the "quickness", does appear to have a little 'Seekamp' to her (re: movement).

a little bit nervous: https://twitter.com/Raoul_000/status/723501608726720512

https://twitter.com/Raoul_000/status/722785042762637312 mentions late addition. just curious, could it be rylie jensen? she was recruited by coach williams to usd.
-
yep, probably just a "word game" now.

wonder if nat read the article written by one of coach williams former players at usd? might not hurt. anyway... just my 2ยข, but, if natalie has met with coach williams and still feels the need to look around, i would say odds are she isn't coming back. fun while it lasted, but, think fans will need to move on. wouldn't surprise me if there were a few other things going on and the events of the past couple weeks were the last straw for nat.
-
didn't really learn too much. i took it there is still some discussions to take place before any final decisions are to be made (re: nat and probably a couple others). coach williams did also state she wanted to focus on the players that want to be at nebraska. i posted earlier that i thought we would hear something monday or tuesday (today)----but, sounds like it may carry on a bit longer. was just going on a "gut" feeling. sorry, sharp and benning! good ol' spell check.

The reality of a new head coach taking over, and completely new staff makes keeping players and new commits stay, even more difficult. Maybe the silence can be taken a good news? No news is good news ?? my gut tells me we should know monday or tuesday--------one way or the other. of course, i thought we would know last week.

This guy has all of the the stuff that happens in college ball. thanks!

any flights out of Lincoln have Chicago and Stockton, Cali on flight plan?
-
i guess i could say, the word i am looking for is "intangibles"-------that's what doyle can bring with her----plus...
-
yes, lost to utah and northern iowa----then lost to kansas in ot?
-
i wouldn't doubt that one bit. love to have them all stick, but, there is something about doyle (besides being the very good player)--------she could be big, imo.

yes, knew the seekamp had to miss the first couple games. that's why hardcore usd fans want to add two more wins to their season record!
-
And they pretty much went injury-free for the entire year. Also, if Seekamp was a little bit off her game, it didn't seem to be too much of a worry because everyone was capable of scoring. Several players got meaningful minutes in games, including true freshmen. I know there was a point in the WNIT championship game where they got down by 5-7 points in the first half, and I was afraid it might start to get away from them. But they played even harder and never let themselves get down emotionally, and won the game in front of a large crowd of Coyote fans. i believe one recruit was injured and didn't play this season? i might be wrong on that one. i did notice there were no stats on her, plus, noticed in the wnit games a gal in sweats and knee brace.
-
i am just concerned as the days go by without a word, the odds of her leaving go up. i hope i am wrong.

what i can tell you is '5 State Hoops' rated usd's 2016-17 class #1 in the 5 state region (includes all universities and colleges). it used to be "open" access, but, apparently no longer. i believe she has 5 recruits coming in and the names i do know is madison mckeever from western minnesota---she went over 3000pts in her career. good 3 pt shooter. she has cierra duffy (sister of caitlyn who is on the team and transferred from csu) coming from st thomas more in rapid city. won the state A and scored 70pts in the 3 games. have to dig a little deeper to find out the final two names. coach williams also got a transfer from sdsu, kaitlyn severyn from pierre, sd. i believe a big reason was because of the boyfriend. oh, she also got another from nebraska, fremont's rylie jensen. coach williams also had the following recruits from nebraska: bridget and allison arens (crofton), jaycee bradley (norfolk), kate liveringhouse (bellevue). others were megan bonar from gardner, ks., madeline homoly from kansas city, ks., jasmine trimboli from iowa western cc (via adelaide, australia), and 6'4" abigail fogg from american university via sault ste marie, ontario. who knows how things will shake out now with a new coach coming in, but, i have heard discussion that although the roster will be fairly young, many had faith that williams would have usd competing again next season. avid ones think she will compete for the top spot, but, most comments i have heard see them 2-3 spot in summit and once they get a little experience they expect to be very good again. coach williams developed a deep bench with 10 players averaging double figure minutes and 2 others that were just short. i would say that relates to the "up tempo" pace she played at usd. everyone knows she had the one star (nicole seekamp) but, there is no doubt coach williams got the best out of her players. everyone seemed to contribute in one way or the other. the one thing that often was mentioned about the usd squad was "team chemistry" and how impressive it was while coach williams was there.
