as far as DW, during the radio broadcast, i thought i heard jeff say she had injured the shoulder during recent practices. if she couldn't even get back up the court, probably not good news----at least for the short term. have to wait and see if coach makes comment on the injury. hopefully, simon keeps making progress. i know it's still fairly early, but, i was disappointed in her play so far. a little surprised hannah whitish isn't getting more minutes--------maybe it's the sr----fr thing. i don't know. i am sure er has put in a lot of hard work over her time at nu, but, i would like hannah to get more minutes. just my thinking, i guess. nicea is going to have a nice career as a husker!!! i think coach williams is too good of a coach------she will not let this team quit.

only reason i can think of for hannah not in the starting lineup: being a freshman, coach williams wants her to get a good look at the game before putting her in. probably doesn't want to put too much on her right away. having said that, i think hannah has shown the skill set that she could be in that first five.

agree with everything that has been said about nicea! her ceiling is very high as a husker. as husker fans, let us not forget, she is a freshman and still learning. the competition will only get tougher, but, as stated in earlier comments from fans and coach---there is so much to like about her game.

being a senior, all of her experience, and at 6' 5"-------allie needs to be getting more than 2pts. however she can get it. yes, she is doing some other things well (ex. assists) but she has to assert herself around the basket on the offensive end. i know her game is more in that 8-14ft range, but, she shouldn't be missing those "bunnies". still hoping she can toy with that 8-12ppg.

uhhhhhhgggg....not much to be happy about in that first half. even jess' shots look bad. she is moving on her jumper instead of getting set.

a couple of things came to mind while watching this game. (1) as whitish gets more experience, i think she could very well takeover out top (2) yes, it will happen but hopefully it's rare---jess and allie are gonna have to stay out of foul trouble.
