  1. husker wbb discussion with sam mckewon: https://social.newsinc.com/media/json/69017/33459555/singleVideoOG.html?type=VideoPlayer/Single&widgetId=2&trackingGroup=69017&videoId=33459555
  2. ?? have no idea how it caught my eye, but, a reporter needs to ask hannah what she calls that jig she did while on the bench around the 1:03 mark ? she has another little move around 1:25---(highlight video)
  3. stated in here emily wood and jasmine cincore will be attending "So You Want to Be a Coach" program later in March. huskers get several mentions in the column. http://www.bigten.org/sports/w-baskbl/spec-rel/012318aaa.html
  4. dang. 18 purdue points. nice defense.
  5. gotta start hitting some of them three's. 0-5
  6. husker rotation might come into play
  7. she has returned and scored 18. http://www.inforum.com/sports/basketball/4392745-nebraska-commit-haiby-returns-injury-spuds-girls-basketball-win-over
  8. hope they have a really good turnout! the team deserves it! probably good choice, bugs. take care of yourself. have a sister that has asthma and uses those inhalers. my gosh, i never knew how expensive they can be.
  9. agree-----and i will add another reason: the iowa game will be a real difficult one for the "road warriors" for a variety of reasons. so, i just think they don't want to let this one get away.
  10. i know when minny fans get fed up with Stollings (and some still are) Yori's name gets mentioned-----but, there are some that are adamantly against considering her. things have probably quieted down over there with minny playing pretty good at the moment. there is a faction that want Stollings gone period.
  11. absolutely looks like losing all your guards to injury has taken its toll on the team. nia hollie has taken over, but, not really her position at msu. for someone as "beefy" as jenna allen, i have seen her get pushed away from the basket far too easy a few times in the last couple of games i have watched. when i watched her play when she was a freshman, i really thought she was going to be a good one for msu. granted, only watched maybe 3 games this season, but, i just haven't seen that allen at all. msu still puts a lot of talent on the floor, but, there are a couple that appear to need an attitude adjustment. merchant has her work cut out for her if they want to avoid the possibility of a collapse.
  12. for some reason, maybe they feel a little more pressure at PBA. hopefully, they settle in and get a little more comfortable. don't want to lose this one at home. i know coach has stressed she wants and needs to protect home court. have msu @ mich on. Michigan is coming out hot. 23-7 little over 2 minutes left in first quarter. in pregame, stated mccutcheon undergoing concussion protocol. rooting for msu. i thought jenna allen was going to be a beast for msu, but, the few games i have seen msu play this year, she really hasn't been much of a factor.
  13. meh, just good to talk a little husker wbb!? (even if i get a little dizzy looking at all the different teams stats, ?)
  14. might try if i am able. other commitment close to that time, so might miss tonight. in relation to the big you might be talking about. i thought they had a 6'4" nigerian that they were hoping would turn out to be pretty good. i think she redshirted and would have been a sophomore? seems like they were pretty high on her, but, i don't think she is on the roster anymore. purdue does have three guards that shoot the three pretty well. can't remember the exact %'s but think 2 were around 40+% and the other one was 39.9%? looking at too many stats earlier today i was wrong on 3pt'ers. keys: 12-38 .316 oden: 38-92 .41 mclaughlin 36-104 .346 cooper 7-19 .368
  15. FYI: coach williams will be on with matt coatney tonight at 7:04. i usually listen on huskers.com or the husker img network. starting with coach williams last appearance, call-ins are picking up now.
  16. if they keep playing well, i could see them finishing around .500---they have a few tough games upcoming (including wednesday?) but i think if they can stay competitive in a good share of them, i think she will survive for another season. i think they had that real good scorer that had to concentrate on her grades---could be big boost if she returns next season. not sure what they have for recruits. anyway, i am a little surprised purdue is that high in the blocked shots category. they play fairly small and their 6'6" gal only averages 8.5 mpg.
  17. appears this should be another defensive battle. i noticed a video of husker postgame celebration after the rutgers game. pretty sure it shows janay morton walk out with the group to celebrate. so, hopefully that injury she sustained isn't too bad. maybe she won't be ready for purdue game, but, hopefully won't be out long. if i remember correctly, ncaa stats showed nebraska and purdue #20 and #21 in blocked shots. purdue is 2nd in the Big Ten scoring defense allowing 59.9ppg while nebraska is 7th allowing 63.9ppg. besides rutgers, not to mention the huskers, i would have to say purdue is another team that has surprised me. i thought it would be very possible Versyp could be on the hot seat this season, but, she has purdue playing well this season.
  18. looking forward to the big ten tourney, i would say it's a safe bet huskers won't have to play that first day!? something that was not out of the question at the beginning of the season. plus, fighting for that top 4 seeding where they wouldn't play till the third day!!!
  19. article on all the msu injuries (at guard). merchant states she doesn't even know what happen to mccutcheon. https://www.lansingstatejournal.com/story/sports/college/msu/womens-basketball/2018/01/22/injuries-leave-michigan-state-womens-basketball-thin-backcourt-entering-tough-stretch/1053257001/
  20. although, under coach williams, she may have been a completely different player ??
  21. bit surprised to see a "goose egg" in the scoring column for TK. too much offensive potential. one of those games, i guess. just hoping she isn't feeling any effects from her illness yet----or even the knee. read a couple articles on the game, but, no mention of janay's foot injury----yet. listening to matt and jeff, jeff stated he didn't think it was the same foot she had surgery on. think huskers will see additional butts in the seat for Purdue?? i would be surprised not to see at least 400-600.
  22. prayers go out to her and her family. wow, that is tough. not sure what is all involved and how soon this procedure must take place, but, i suppose they will have to find a match for her asap.
  23. i understand it's a bit early, but, wow-----coach williams has got to be leading the way for Big Ten coach of the year.
