  1. The latter
  2. It's not debatable that it is a good thing. That's not my opinion. Opinions and debates can be waged on how good MJ is. We are down to 8 scholarship players now. MJ was the lone true four. He was a two year starter. He proved he could defend and rebound. The guy who is supposedly going to replace him hasn't even received the waiver for the first semester yet and is coming off back surgery. Another one of those 8 was a role player at best at Miami and is rumored to have grade issues. Another is your starting PG who is rumored to be looking. Another is your center who has a world of upside but hasn't proven to be able to stay on the court due to foul trouble. There is no way whatsoever that anyone can spin this as a positive or even breakeven thing.
  3. It's not debateable at all
  4. Yeah....they expect him to return
  5. Considering the rest of our roster, we really couldn't afford to lose Jacobson either
  6. Sip's an idiot
  7. Would certainly point towards Hoiberg. Has a few regular season games left to go plus the potential of the playoffs
  8. I miss the Bob from pre-Byrne days. Once the bleachers left on the floor it was different
  9. Only thing I miss about the Big 12 was the close road trips to ku, Ksu and isu.
  10. I think the guy can be a legit back up point guard in the league. At 6'4" he has ideal PG size. He's ran the point in international play before.
  11. Not ideal...but all depends on who we land. It also gets out in front of what certainly appears to be inevitable next year. May save us from more departures as well. If a change is made, it just expedites the rebuilding period. Means next year is your new foundation (with guys like Watson..hopefully, Copeland, Roby and Jordy) instead of in 2 years where some of those guys may not be around. Also gives you a chance (albeit...unlikely) to re-recruit MJ, Ed and Horne and not have a bunch of reaches tying up roster spots for a few years and start recruiting for what should be a big class (graduate Gill and Taylor and have 4 spots open) in November.
  12. Committed to Houston
  13. Until your heart gets broken again and again because you've unrealistically built up expectations
  14. It's a highlight film. What do we expect to see in it. His stat line tells us more than the video. There's a reason for those numbers.
  15. Or that claim was exaggerated and was the public spin Abd yes, we need him
  16. Hope the next coach goes after him
  17. Xavier is for Morrow, more specifically
  18. Guessing Ed plays the frontcourt at Xavier and is just fine with how he gets used.
  19. Hasn't been announced that he is yet.
  20. Not a step up over Morrow or Jacobson by any means....but if getting him as a 8 mpg back up to Jordy allows MJ to stay at the 4 and remain here....I guess its a win
  21. Winthrop center. Averaged 4ppg and shot 26% from the stripe. Taller, less skilled version of Morrow
  22. I know right. I mean...I'm way off base. 5 losing seasons in the last 6. 1 tournament appearance in the last 20 years. Only P5 team never to win a tourney game. It's almost like I'm making it up. And if this is true...it's the 3rd starter in 8 months to transfer out.
