  1. I agree. And I'm also concerned we aren't keeping up enough with the rest of the conference, especially now that we have a couple new members coming in.
  2. I saw a lot of the game as well. We have to do a better job defending against the 3. Gophers were shooting well beyond the arc and if that continues, it could be an ugly game for us.
  3. Seems our women are playing with some fire now. And just as I typed this we turned the ball over. I’ll shut up now (dang autocorrect kept changing shut to something else).
  4. And now AM has 4 fouls to start the half.
  5. I'll add Tear'a Laudermill to the list.
  6. I'm just gonna leave this link here. Grambling 159-18 College Of Biblical Studies (Jan 2, 2024) Box Score - ESPN
  7. "-Connie Yori is a huge asset for CU." This can't be stated enough.
  8. Williams needs to chew some butts at the 5 minute mark.
  9. Watched her videos - love her attitude! Willing to work hard to improve. Really like her.
  10. Wow - I've had my eye on her for some time (which was easy for a while since I live in Vermillion). I thought if she could find success at West Virginia (I would have liked to have seen her there another year), she might be a candidate for the Huskers if they decided to move in a different direction. Guess Minnesota is the early bird that gets the worm.
  11. I’ve been hearing rumors they’re looking at the South Dakota State coach, but I have no idea if there’s any truth to that.
  12. It's like watching the Titanic bob along in the water, then it suddenly gives way and sinks rapidly to the depths of the ocean. Sorry, I'll go be dramatic somewhere else.
  13. I recently came across some information that leads me to believe her resignation had more to do with personal issues than any investigation with the program. I could be wrong, but her resignation made a lot more sense to me when I stumbled across this. And I'm sorry I'm being cryptic, but I don't feel it's any of my beeswax to splash it all over social media. I feel she is a fantastic coach and has had tremendous influence on the Creighton program which has led to their recent success. I would take her back in a heartbeat. There was nothing in the info I found that cast her in a negative light. If anything, it put her in a more positive light in my mind.
  14. I doubt Brown would have developed as much had she stayed. I don't blame her one bit for leaving.
  15. And now the second quarter is a turd and a half. Dang.
  16. Morgan Maly from Crete? I took a quick look back at some posts on this board, but I don't see any mention of her. 6'1" and can shoot reasonably well from the arc, she's turned into a nice player for Creighton. Concerns me that this player was right in our backyard, and we may not have attempted to recruit her. But perhaps I'm wrong on that.
  17. I have wondered about the possibility of her going to Creighton. They have had much more recent success and she could really elevate that program, making it harder for UConn to get the conference title.
  18. Do we have glue on the bottom of our shoes? Why do we stand with our feet rooted in place, with a defender covering us, but still think we can receive the ball? This reminds me of when my daughter played club in elementary school. MOVE YOUR FEET.
  19. Looks like our stinker quarter is the 4th quarter this time.
  20. I haven't seen Kennedi play, but if she has a quick first step and some speed, she could be the type of defender that I call a pest. Those are the types that never leave you alone, are always buzzing around poking at the ball, they get some steals and oftentimes will be fouled by the person they are defending because of frustration (which can put the other team in foul trouble). I am all for taller players, but they must be athletic. I define athleticism apart from skill. I've seen way too many taller players (around that 6' mark) that can shoot a decent percentage, but they can't move their feet, are always a step behind on offense and defense, and they rarely get open long enough to get a decent shot off. Those are the types of players we can't afford to have. So the question is, where do you find these taller players with athleticism (overall speed, quick first step, jumping ability), that are also skilled enough (dribbling, defending without fouling, shooting) to play in the B1G? And how do we keep them on our team (don't mean to beat a dead horse, but we had 3 of these types a few years ago and they all 3 left us)?
  21. This type of performance that we’ve seen way too many times this season, should not be happening in year 7 of AW’s tenure, especially with the players we have coming off last season.
  22. As someone mentioned earlier, cannot call time out to light a fire under everyone’s bum.
