When a Coach cant put in plays to help the team succeed on offense. We look the same disorganized offensive team as every year with Miles. I hope AD Bill doesn't feel he has to wait to keep cleaning house

Nebraska basketball will be making a statement Monday on Jacobson transferring. I heard this morning, Its a done deal. I think four transfers in one season is unusual. We are not hearing what exactly went on last year that these players don't want to be a part of it another year

A friend of mine that goes in and out of the Hendricks said Ed Morrow's and Michael Jacobson's names and photos were removed from the locker room and practice facility today

After seeing Ed leave. Is this going to happen to the other 3 Juniors with the uncertainty in the direction of the bb program behind the scenes with Coach Miles. When stuff likes this happens, you know all the players are talking with each other. As a Junior.....Do you stay with the understanding the bb program has alot of pressure to get to the NCAA tournament or bust. If you lose some games the Coach will ride the guys with his job on the line. Then, if Coach gets fired, then you have your senior year with a new coach and bb program, Does that new coach clean house and start with his recruits and rebuilding. I don't see much security. As a Junior.....Do you leave for the opportunity to play somewhere New for 2-3 years with a Coach and bb program that is secure and more sucessful. I heard after the Morrow coaches meeting, Miles left to catch a plane to the Final Four. Doesn't sound like a coach that is concerned about what's important.

If your unhappy and ready to go its probably not the best to burn that bridge and not talk to the coach of your decision first.

I was a fan of his hard work and hustle when he was on the floor. Hard to see a guy leave that puts the name on the front of his jersey ahead of himself for the best of the team. Good luck to Nick !!

I guess we have no where to go but up We just took last place in the Bigten Tournament

All we heard this past season is the team is young and we need to give Miles time to get us there. Young Teams? So is most of the Bigten teams for next year !!!! I just dont see how we are going to make it up into the upper half of the Bigten next year when every team is playing young except for Wisconsin and Michigan. Most of the teams have only 1 or 2 seniors leaving Penn St that just beat us has no seniors Rutgers players are all young Ohio St has 1 senior Indiana has one senior that may get a medical redshirt in Hartman Purdue team is very young Northwestern most productive guys are underclassman The majority of the league from top to bottom is not Junior and Senior strong this year. I just dont see how keeping Miles will get us over the hump. We have been regressing over the season and players look disinterested in what Miles is selling them.

AD said he would like to see the team making progress over the year. I wonder if a 3-11 record over the last 14 games is heading in the right direction for a extension. The team seems to look very lost on defense with all the easy scoring we have allowed. Is that the players or the game plan? I keep thinking how important Coach Smith was to the entire bb program and how it ran when he was here and how his team looks at South Dakota now.

Over the last 4 years Northwestern and Minnesota Basketball programs are doing more with way less in practice facilities, game arenas, money for coaches ect. Both Northwestern and Minnesota Coaches were hire roughly at the same time as Nebraska hired Tim Miles. I just don't see that the players are buying what Miles is selling as we look good on paper but seem to regress over the course of the season and is that why we see players and assistant coaches leaving every year Miles been at Nebraska.

Hard to find division 1 college guys that will embrace those roles for the best of the team after being "the man" at his high school

NBA Scouts will find you if your Good Enough (Typo above) If your good enough the NBA scouts will find you anywhere in this world. The NBA draft proves that theory with all the players selected from overseas and mid major schools. Even players that were on teams that did not do well with Wins and Losses, if your good enough and show potential NBA teams what they are looking for in a player, NBA will find you. Most 5th year players will transfer for more playing time, so this is very unusual and will stand out to NBA scouts. Are you a team player to show us how you can make players around you better or you just out for #1 ?? After everything that has happened and how Andrew White has handled himself as a me first player, it may turn those NBA teams away, If Shavon Shields wasn't even drafted or considered within 2 rounds. I would say with Andrew White worrying more about his NBA status then being a leader and trying to win basketball games. I would say he has less than a 20% chance to make a NBA draft board next year. Just ask Terran Petteway how hard it is.

Is Tim Miles heading the Basketball program in the right direction in the last 4 years with developing players to be better each year vs. a guy like Chris Collins at Northwestern with one less year in than Coach Miles has into their programs. I personally think Northwestern is also a tougher place to recruit player to and Collins is getting it done quicker. Chris Collins has 3 years in as head Coach. Same assistant coaches all 3 years. Northwestern in the bottom quarter of BigTen when taken over. no NCAA appearances. Each year the overall wins were higher under Collins. Salary 1.4 mil. Tim Miles has 4 years in as head coach, Nebraska in the bottom quarter of Big ten when taken over, None of the same assistant coaches from 2012. made one NCAA appearance. One season out of four with 14+ wins. Salary 1.65 mil. With all the assistant coaching turnover is Nebraska players developing better each year or looks the same? Coach Mo was said to be a defensive wizzard but Nebraska has allowed more points than before he was here and the blame keeps going on the players as defensive errors. Maybe the team isn't responding to what he is selling or its just not working.. It looks to me we over help, over rotate and hedge too high leaving the opponents very open on the backsides for easy scores. Because we like Coach Miles as a person with his character as funny and outgoing with media and fans. Are we being sold fools gold when it comes down to the bottom line are we seeing player improvements in his 4th year. Is Nebraska getting a good return on their investment over 4 years? Northwestern is playing just as many freshman as we are but they seem much more skilled.

I sit behind the Nebraska bench about 3 rows up and I can hear and read lips the best I can during the games as coaches talk to the players during the games as they come off the floor. I have really noticed Coach Phil Breckner has been ripping guys during the games saying negative things to players that will take any confidence you may still have completely away. I haven't heard anything like that before. I have noticed players shutting down after he talks to them. Coach Smith, Coach Hunter and Coach Harriman would talk to guys during the games in a manner that would challenge them to go out and do better but not tear them down like I hear now.. I just think he is causing players to second guess their game decisions during play which is hard to do in the game of basketball as bad things will follow.
