It was even funnier watching many of them trying to re-enter after they left.  It is like leaving the dinner table before dessert is served.

I am a taxpayer...I have no problem with the "N" --- so Nancy, please do not speak on my behalf.

There is a huge part of me that could/should/would argue that if a kid is so shallow, that his number one concern is the brand of shoe on his feet, then I would not want him here...

I love the visits...But I want so much more.  We keep hearing that these young men loved the visit, loved the facilities, loved this, loved that... GREAT.  But I want them signed, sealed and delivered to our fine University...please!

That said, it is amazing that we are getting this level of recruit to visit.  We are on the cusp.  We just need the right jimmy's and joe's.

Huskerpapa got a reaction from Nebrasketballer in When do we get the first 2014 verbal?
It is fine to be optimistic about the possibilities of future Husker signee's, yet the realist in me raises his voice and says that until I see a four or five star player at a tip-off (in our uniform), there remains that tinge of doubt.

Rivers did pretty good last off-season, if he can take that next step, I would very much agree.

The only thing that ever bothers me is that I hear these recruits and many others say that they are blown away by our facilities, but then don't commit.  Maybe I a am a bit selfish, but if you love everything about this place, PLAY HERE!!!

I will say this in a diplomatic way and perhaps it will start a debate.  I have always been intrigued by East Coast guards.  Even when Nebraska was at its best, when we played teams from the East or when we played teams with stud guards from the East, they tended to outperform our guard court.  Certainly there are exceptions.  Lue, Strick and others certainly take a back seat to few, but man, the mentality and athletic performance seems to shine out East.

I love how Georgetown plays defense.  If he can bring some of those concepts as well as their work eithic along with him...oh wow.  Georgetown does run the Princeton offense, which isn't exactly a fit.  But I bet a bunch of his recruits would love to play the pace that we offer in comparison to the Princeton plays.

This is soooo exciting.  He may only be in Lincoln for a couple years, but hopefully his imprint on the program will be much more significant.
