What is tough, is that you lose players that you thoroughly and unabashedly loved watching. We have lost players in the not so distant past that left little or no void. Losing this group hurts my

In my opinion, who we truly go after will depend on who leaves, right? I am also of the opinion, that we actually land players that, at first, seems to be a surprise. It's as if we float names, and then land a player that went unnamed. This should be another interesting offseason.

Sorry, the hurt is still present. Won't golf today. Won't watch any basketball. Hard to even be on this site. Thank gawd we won in Corvallis last night. Took out a little frustration on a fellow fan who said Amy was outcoached last night...yada, yada, yada.

Texas A&M (19-12) vs. Nebraska (22-11) Game Thread
Huskerpapa replied to Bugeaters1's topic in Row 6 Seat 10
Really? I thought the A&M coach was awful. They had an athletic and physical team; but schematicaly did nothing to leverage them. The ex-A&M player turned announcer kept referencing their injuries without referencing our injury. Amy never panicked and despite an underwhelming 4th quarter, pulled out the win. This Nebraska coach, who many bash, now has a team, that leverages the entire roster, in the top 32 in the entire country. A team that is now in the top 10% in the country. A team that had, arguably, it's best player in foul trouble within the first 3 minutes, yet prevailed. I'm really, really unsure what people want or see when the see this Husker team compete. But for me, I see a few exceptional players typically perform at a high level, and I see role players who work hard plugging gaps and oftentimes excel when asked. -

Up 10 going to the 4th. We are not really playing that, well and still up. So that's positive. -

I will attempt to put a positive spin on things at this very sad point. We were a much better team than most thought possible. We were picked 12th in our league...yet finished third.we had no clue what our line up would do; they gelled and brought great joy. We had a player (Keisei) that received national recognition. Our team was nationally embraced. We made the NCAA tournament, while many may have been satisfied with NIT type improvement. So I am upset...but man, what a great ride. -

We can't reinvent the team though. We have recruited to who we are and what we are. Next years current recruits are fa reflection of who we are. -

Not much to say. Offense wasn't the issue per se. But defensively we were abused by a team that was supposed to be offensively challenged. I am disappointed and very, very sad. -
