So is the Pac-12 really this deep or is Arizona just that bad? Outside of conference play, Arizona is: Q1: 1-1 (W neut Purdue, W neut Texas A&M) Q2: 3-1 Q3: 2-1 Q4: 4-0

I just found the two polar dynamics of these power schools rather interesting. And these tournaments do tend to favor the underdogs more than it helps those powerhouses.

I don't have a tangible source/link, but i heard they were going to host a watch party, but it waa going to be a private event. Not sure if anybody else has heard that.

We've hit them all except for Vermont and Louisiana. Which at the end of the day may not even tough at-large status. Those were "just in case" scenarios. So do we need WKU to win, or it that likely the same as the other two we "missed"?

I actually think the committee is going to heavily consider this. A point of emphasis they have made this year is "intent in scheduling." So that helps with our non-conference (remember that rough 5 game stretch of high caliber teams? We scheduled around that) and there's absolutely nothing we could have done with our conference slate since that was set in stone. We did what we could with the schedule we had. SOR reflects that and says that we played our schedule better than 90%+ than the rest of the NCAA was projected to have done.

One outcome is St. Bonaventure losses and still makes it into the tournament (leaving the possibility of 1-3 A10 bids). I'm going to struggle with the Big Ten and BTN over the next few seasons. The conference wasn't there for us when we needed them the most. And if we make it into this tournament, they shouldn't get any of the glory for getting 5 teams in. Don't get me wrong. I'm all for keeping it real and having some transparency, but they had nothing positive to say about us. It was always "they still have more work to do." Not "they've done very well in conference play, they have these stats/wins/etc., they were asked to do a lot on the road." None of that. I won't forget how this was handled by the Big Ten for awhile.

Louisiana's stats before this game were: RPI 54, KPI 89, SOR 58 Q1: 0-1 Q2: 1-1 (won at #116 UT Arlington) Q3: 9-2 (losses at #140 Ole Miss and at #141 Georgia State) Q4: 15-1 (loss to #305 Little Rock at home)

We have to really root for the Bonnies if URI loses. Fortunately the AAC has 2 other heavy hitters on the other side of the bracket so we need to go for Wichita State/Houston if Cincy ends up losing this one.

Whose side are you on? The bracketologists or the coaches? I'm certain that coaches and ADs have been campaigning for us. At some point the committee may just say "how could we leave a team out like this?"

Vermont is 0-4 in Quad 1, 2-2 in Quad 2 (wins @ Bucknell and at @ Harvard). RPI was 51, SOR was 55. Lost to RPI 198 Hartford at home. We should be good.
