Yeah what I was sitting here thinking. We may be the last team that could make the dance to win our first game [TRIGGER WARNING]
-
The first team to fall in March Madness due to COVID:
-
It appears the only things falling in Assembly Hall are the steel beams. 4-2 St. Bonaventure over LSU with 7.5 minutes into this game.
-
Speaking of 3-point shooting... 13 for 20 for Colorado right now. Walker shooting 5 for 5.
-
Somebody fact check me on this, but it just felt like yesterday the "live and die by the 3" high volume shooters were the ones who prospered yesterday and led to a few upsets. It's not always sustainable, but it worked for a team like Oral Roberts at the right time this first round.

The biggest P5 surprise to me right now is Oregon State. Picked last in the preseason Pac-12 polls, statistically shouldn't even be in the tournament, yet they rolled over Tennessee. Kind of makes me think of some of Danny Nee's teams. Except this Oregon State squad actually pulled through to get that coveted NCAA tournament win.

Sure stings watching another team get their first ever NCAA tournament win.
-
That was Roy Williams' first ever loss in the first round of the tournament. 29-1.
-
#12 Oregon State (the team who wouldn't have been in the tournament without a Pac-12 tournament championship) is up 44-25 against #5 Tennessee with 16 min to go.
-
The Big Ten is down this year.
-
HHCC title vacated We can't let KenPom have that satisfaction.
-
I already put myself on a self-imposed suspension, so the NCAA will let me off easy.
-
It sure didn't take long in this tournament to get our first overtime game!
-
Always nice to finish a season at or above 0.500.
-
This is a nice confidence game to shake off the postseason jitters and strive for a deep run in the tournament.

Brackets are locked. Best of luck! Looks like we've got quite the crowd in this pool! -

KenPom 2020-2021 KenPom Rankings Thread
HuskerFever replied to 49r's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Not trolling you what-so-ever, this just came to mind as I'm watching the UCLA/Michigan State game. Curious to hear your thoughts. Where do you see us stack up against UCLA? They're the #4 team in the Pac-12. We lost to Michigan State in both of our attempts this year; UCLA just knocked Michigan State out of the tournament. I just struggle to see our roster matching up against UCLA and being in the top 4 of the Pac-12 this season. Sure, there's 10 Pac-12 teams better than us in the NET rankings and a large part of that is likely attributed to our losses in such a heavy SOS league, but I'd probably lean closer to #5-7 in the Pac-12 than I would #1-4. -
It turns out the 2nd and 3rd Domino's were created within the same county as the original DomiNicks in Ypsilanti, Michigan. At that point, they wanted to keep the same branding with its stores, but the original owner forbade them from continuing to use DomiNicks for those additional stores. That's when they rebranded to the Domino's name. The three dots on their logo represented those three stores once they rebranded to the Domino's name in 1965.
