I largely stayed away from this topic because everyone was heated last week. Personally, I don’t care for Trev and don’t view this as a bad thing. Has nothing to do with UNO wrestling/football or sour grapes. I don’t think he’s the leader most people believe he is. He has a lot of friends in the local media who are doing their best to smooth this over for him and painting this picture that we lost some great AD. I don’t think that’s true at all. I know a few people who have worked with him while he was an AD. He’s sort of a phony and really only concerned about how people view him from what I am told. Doesn’t make him a bad person or a bad AD necessarily, there are a lot of high achieving people with similar profiles. I myself can be like that.
Just throwing my opinion out from what I know. I don’t hold any contempt for Trev and I wish him luck in his new role. I’m sure he’s a good guy in a lot of ways. I don’t even think he was that bad of an AD. I just don’t think this is a terrible loss. Bad timing for sure though.
